As a member of RYFG I know Jack (Swede) personally, and i can assure you that he is not a "hacked" account, a cheat, nor an idiot. He is a wealthy SWEET, compassionate businessman, and i think it is SICK that you people say these rude things about someone who just donated THOUSANDS of dollars to help Japan!! I think people that complain about somebody beating them because they spent a bunch of money in MW is like the skinny, spoiled brat that complains because the other kids work out harder than they did before football season. They just assume that they did steroids, so they just go and cheat because they're too weak to put in the effort. In this game it can be a little different. Not everybody has a bunch of disposable income to put into their hobby. It might be a text based game, but if it's truly your hobby, you're going to put all that you can into it, and in MW it takes money to be the best. If you don't have it, and you can't get to that level, show some class and just play the game that you're able to play. Don't try and trash talk those who are able to take the game to another level. There's a lot more to this game and earning respect as a person than having the biggest account around. A fighting will and an eagerness to defend your tag are what's going to get you respect. Make some friends and have some fun, or you've already lost the game. (beers) (bow)

Swede is definitely a class act in the MW community. He does not intimidate those who are weaker. He is always there to help those who are in need of help in the game. He's been a mentor to me forever. How much he spends in the game is irrelevant. He is very passionate about the game and like most of us, he is playing this game purely because of friendship. If it wasn't for players like Jack, Mafia Wars would never have gone this far. All the new developments within the game requires huge sum of funds. That being said, much respect to you Jack! You brought hope to people in Japan. Wish I could have bought more of the fans.

The only strange thing about his account, (and I am not insinuating anything… I am just pointing out an abnormality), is that he received the award for Diamond level, before Gold and before Platinum.

When the Loyalty Program came out, if you were already over a certain pre-determined level, they gave you all three at once, and it just looks like you got Diamond before Platinum and Gold. I'm kinda surprised they gave us all three and not just the Diamond stuff to be honest. (From my own experience)

it's really a wow! not just the account itself but the good heart for donating to Japan thru the game he love [a lot for sure]. I myself wanted to be a very strong mw player and i would do the same as what Swede did if only i have the luxury to do so. Like others have said, if this is ur hobby and u are enjoying it, then i dont see a problem with spending so much on it. and people who doesnt know this guy, guess u should stop judging him for u do not even know him and what he is doing other than mw. if he is able to help Japan thru this game, most probably he had also helped other people outside this game. I think it's pretty pathetic that so many people that don't know the Class act that is Jack Carlson would make judgmental commentary about him and apply how he's built his mafia wars account to his personal character in such a malicious manner. Even though Jack removed me when the RYFG accounts were getting hacked, I still am proud to say I have known Jack since I started playing mw essentially. And just as in terms of game management, his personal mannerisms are to be Generous, and Good to all he's not fighting against. Jack is considered one of the Genuine Legends of this game. His account has never been hacked, injected, tamper data'd or anything of that sort. His account is without compromise and everyone that plays at a high level in this game knows it. I wish before people tried to malign his character, they would do some research about the person. Sure there was a benefit to Jack buying those fans. There's a benefit for anyone that buys one or more. If you don't like the fact that Jack can buy more than you, get over it, you don't have the right to tell anyone how to spend their money or play their game. Realistically the purchase can probably be used as a tax write off as a donation, so it's not as foolish as some of you imply. I know many RYfG and Jack C. is neither a fake or cheater and is also not a script user.... Suck it up..there are a lot of very rich people in the world and many do worse then spend it on a game. He is a generous contributor to many cause's and MW's does not take up much of his time. Trust me when you have the points you level way before you can use up all energy and stamina..... also you will see that the TRUE elite players of this game are very humble and do not flaunt their power nor abuse it. If they did the next big gun would come along and put a stop to it. It's no ones business how he uses his money...... it's just money on a different scale. No one would say "how can you go to a bar and spend $50 on drinks instead of giving it to the homeless guy on the corner".
