Gold Mystery Bags are back. We had it a few days ago, and they are back once again.
Zynga must have nerfed something, or a nerf might be coming soon.

The Gold Mystery Bags have been removed. For those who wish to keep sending the bag, just hope that Zynga decides to place it back to the Free Gifts page. :)

Gold Mystery Bags are back and we're able to send them to our Mafias now!
As stated, it would be available for a day. You will only be allowed to open 20 bags per day.

Zynga must have felt bad for pulling the Botanical Garden back, so they added the Gold Mystery Bags back to the Free Gifts page for sending..

Gold Mystery Bags have returned!
Be sure to collect them before they are removed from the game again! ~

Click on the "Send" button to send some bags to your mafia, you should get some back in return.

Only 20 Gold Mystery Bags can be opened daily.
After 20 of them have been opened, they should be converted to the Blue Mystery Bags.

Some interesting things that you might find from the Gold Mystery Bags: 

• +1 Skill Point
• +5 Attack Point
• +5 Defense Point
• +5 Stamina Point
• +5 Energy Point 
• +1 Reward Point
• Canister Rifle (A:122/D:89)

Gold Mystery Bag staying for 3 days not 1 day

Although the banner on the home module say Gold Mystery Bag is staying for a day

Cerluean Master(Super Moderator of Mafia Wars Forum) announced on a topic that it will be staying for 3 days(72 hours) instead of 1 day(24hours) upon release.

Zynga have added the Gold Mystery Bags into the Free Gifts page for us to send to our mafias.

If you are interested, you can send them to your mafias. You can find the Gold Mystery Bags on the free gifts page.

Here are some of the items you can get from the Gold Mystery Bags -

The Canister Rifle also drops from the Gold Mystery Bag, and it has pretty good stats too!

There are also some useless items, boosts, etc..

After you have reached the limit for the Gold Mystery Bags, you will receive a normal Mystery Bag... I'm not sure what the limits are, but it seems like we are able to accept more than 10 of it.
