Power Packs Experiment Phase 3

This is just stupid! Why they keep changing things instead of relase it to everyone?

We are now entering Phase 3 of the Power Pack experiment. Power Packs can be considered an upgraded Stamina Pack, so we're excited to figure out the proper balance for this powerful feature.

If you had Power Packs in Phase 2, you will still have them in Phase 3, and here are the new details:

• Power Packs now provide a 125% stamina refill every 8 hours. • Power Packs continue to provide a 200% health refill every 10 minutes if one chooses to use them to restore their health. • Energy and Power Packs now share the same timer, so you're going to have to employ that ever-important strategy to timing your pack usage.

Entering Phase 3 means we are getting closer to determining the proper balance and a form of Power Packs to everyone. We appreciate your patience. The feature can be discussed in this forum thread.

Pseudo Stamina Bug: Beware of mafiawars.com

I've seen quite a few players state that they lost the extra 25% stamina they gained from the Power Packs as soon as they performed a game action. This wasn't a surprise as Zynga has had a long history with this type of bug. For some reason stamina causes issues when it goes over 100% . We saw this all the time when the Daily Take offered a 125% Stamina Boost (1).

I tested it out and found that everything worked great when I was playing from Facebook. When I went to mafiawars.com, I lost the extra stamina and went down to 100%. Remember when you unframe Mafia Wars you are automatically directed to mafiawars.com.  This applies even when you unframe from Facebook.  The best way to prevent losing your extra stamina is to say in a framed game from Facebook and do game tasks manually until you reach 100%. I'm working on videos to document and will post those at a later time as you need to wait 8 hours between Power Packs.

Brazil - Robbing Gives Energy/Stamina

I noticed something while robbing in Brazil !
For robbing Barracks, you gain +1 Stamina.
For robbing Refinery, you gain +1 Energy.

(Since you have +1 Energy on each Robbing, make sure that spend your Energy before doing this robberies, otherwise it will be a waste of Energy.)

This is only a temporary bonus, will not added to your Skill Points.

Also, almost every property on the robbing list in Brazil are listed as Easy.
For those who have not mastered your robbing mastery, it's time to do it now!

Treasure Isle - Game Cross Promotion Is Over

I have just posted earlier this morning at our time zone, that one of our friend still can have free Stamina Refill from Treasure Isle ingame promotion here on this article.

Some of you can try your luck too by following the link I've provided there. Some will have no luck today..

Aaron has no luck, but one thing that make him pissed off is because he still can see the promo on his account..

Let's read his complain on the email below..

Some days, I wish I could have a job at Zynga. I know if I performed like this at my old job, I would have been fired along time ago.
The stamina refill for playing Treasure Isle was supposed to end on the 12/15/2010.
Well here it is 12/16/2010 at 10:15pm and still shows on the popup when robbing.
Guess my Christmas wish is for Santa to fix Zynga and help them get the act together for the New Year.

I have checked on my main account that I still have the icon of Tiki Mask on game bar..

They should have removed this "expired" promotion from Mafia Wars game as soon as the promo end!

Pretty shame to have a lame service like this... Please Zynga, serve us better!

Treasure Isle Stamina Refill

Good morning, world!

Just this morning I login to my FaceBook and see this on my friend's wall..

I was so confuse because I thought that the promotion is over on December 15th?

It's already December 17th here now..

You can check their explanation here on Zynga Support page : Treasure Isle Stamina Refill.

It's clearly stated there :

Update 12/9 - This Cross Promotion is ending on December 15th. After December 15th, players will no longer be able to receive stamina refills from this Cross Promotion.

But I was still curious to try!

I asked him via FaceBook chat and he said yes, he got the Stamina refill along with the Tiki Mask. Been checking his Mafia Wars Profile and I see the mask there!

So then I used this link to take me to the game cross promotion...
