ATTACKING
A. Attacking others is part of the game, it enables you to win or lose fights, gain loot and money. The problem occurs when you attack someone too many times or too often. This leads to anger and disrespect.. Can create conflict among clans and in some cases start Clan wars. When attacking a War Enemy there are no restraints, except for health and stamina. In attacking others restraint and fair play should be used. When attacking anyone from the fight page that is more than fifty levels below you, only hit them once unless you get a critical then hit them again. The remainder of the people on the fight page you should limit your attacks to two or three hits at the most and then move on to another target. Of course any War enemies are an exception and you hit them until you are out of health and stamina. Remember another reason for doing this is sometimes you get the same fight pages day after day, so if you hit them more times and they come up again and again it appears that you have them targeted.
B. Storing Links by book marking them or storing them on Note pad is primarily for War enemies. Rarely is this something you would want to do with other players. because you really don't want to attack someone over and over again because then you appear to be a Mafia Bully.

ROBBING
Robbing is one of he most annoying processes in Mafia Wars. It is the quickest way to make someone angry and upset. But it is a part of the game and should be used if you enjoy doing it. However you should use restraint and don't abuse it and don't become a bully by over using this feature.
A. You should not rob the same player over and over. You should only rob one Property of a player and not rob all of them.
B. You should not over rob a player and try to put his property out of business in normal playing environment. This only causes hard feelings and takes it from a game strategy to a personal vendetta result.
C. Limit you your times to rob normally to no more than 3-5 times on one property and then move on to a new target.
D. In normal and regular playing status you should never deplete a targets property to below 95% unless their are reasons to do so, such as retaliating for a team mate or one of your mafia members that has asked for help with a bully.
E. Again War enemies there are no restraints are limits other than health and stamina, although most higher level players feel that robbing is a waste of stamina and really don't like doing it except when helping others who have been robbed.

RETALIATION
Retaliation is part of the game and one of the key functions of a Mafia family , but many people have the wrong concept about retaliation.
You are responsible for your individual play and your mafia team mates are not responsible for protecting you are retaliating for you when you are the instigator and caused the trouble. If you attack or rob someone or attempt to, you should expect that they will come after you just as you would go after them for an attack or rob attempt on you. This is part of the game and you are on your own if you create this situation. Do not go ask one of your higher level or stronger players to get into this situation. It is not their responsibility to bail you out of your problem. Take your medicine, you deserve it.
What you should expect is that they will hit you or rob you twice as many times as you attempted on them, maybe more. If a War enemy comes after you or you attack them first and lose and then they come after you, then this is different and you can go to your help list and ask for help, just be sure you post on the correct list for your level.
5.
Communicating with the other Players in Mafia Wars.
It is not a good idea to use taunting communications with other players or to engage in name calling or disparaging remarks about another player or their clan. However, communicating with another player is highly recommended when you have hit someone who is stronger than you and they start to retaliate against you. As said earlier take your medicine and let it go unless they have taken it personally and continue to retaliate in excess. Remember this situation was of your making and is still your responsibility to handle at this point. You should contact the player and offer a truce, perhaps even invite them to your mafia. Be respectful, courteous and polite in everything you say and take a little extra time to read before sending to make sure you don't say something that comes across different than you intended.
Hopefully this will resolve the situation and the person will accept your request for a truce. Retain this communication in your message history in the event they continue to target you past reasonable retaliation, then take your communication history to the player and paste it on the appropriate help request list along with the history of their attacks or robbery attempts on you. When it is to the point that they have entered into a bully status with you, then your team mates will provide you assistance.
