Breaking news!
If you're a fan of Mafia Wars page on FaceBook, you'll be able to get any update news about this game... including this one :
First, Raid the Docks featured jobs is temporarily disabled.. many of you who still love collecting Cargo Ship feel disappointed with this.. but then they update it again!
The job is back and Zynga extending it for ONE more day.. will be ended on Monday at midnight Pacific time. So Big Apple Week is still available til Monday..
Still got time, everybody.. Master all New York tiers and get those Cargo Ships!
I received this email from Zynga few days ago.. this is a reminder for Big Apple Week and also their sale on limited time offers this week.
I have posted all about this guys.. just to remind you too..
Here is screenshot sent by my best mafia!
So based on that image above we don't need to master the job first? Or this is one of the glitch?
And here is the special loot!
Vey nice, right???
If we compare with Konstantin Cargo Carrier from Moscow loots, still give better stats!
Great job, Zynga teams!
PS : Credit goes to "Morgan"!
Hmmm, I guess not every players got the same amount of UCP.. See these images below sent by one of my best mafias :
Only got 4 UCPs
Got 30 UCPs
I don't know minimum level to get 30 of UCPs. Is it level 50 or lower? Or does it have connection on how many tiers we have mastered? Or else?
And also this one..
Player 1 level 323
Player 2 level 1134
Both doing one job.
The differences are :
- One player has Step 1, but the other has Step 2 written there.
- The job description
- The Payout
- Energy requires
- Job Mastery
- The countdown timer. One player can do it every 8 hours and the other for 24 hours.
- The amount of UCPs, of course. First pic got 15 of UCPs, second player got 30 of UCPS.
So, this is depends on your level (and maybe something else that I don't know for sure yet).
What level are you? How many UCPs do you got? Which image represent your character now?
Please leave your comments here. Thanks!
PS : Thanks to Steven and Morgan for this info and images!
Big Apple Event is started!
During that week, all jobs in New York will provide double the mastery and double the normal loot. What this means for you is if you’re still working on mastering the levels in New York, you’ll have the opportunity to finish much quicker than usual. This is also a great time to collect loot such as those elusive cell phones and blackmail photos.
And if that wasn't enough, there's also a special featured job, where your objective is to raid the docks and if successful, you'll receive a limited edition item - a Cargo Ship!
Big Apple Event is a limited time event and ends next Sunday, November 22nd, so make sure to take advantage of it.
So this is just like the
Rob A Candy Truck on Halloween Event. Do this job once a day, until we have mastering it and get special loots!
That 30 pieces of UCP is awesome.. I bet tomorrow will be another consumables??? I hope so!
Mafia Wars: Big Apple Week starting on Sunday! Double Mastery, Double Loot Drops and a Special Featured Job. Finally finish New York!Starting Sunday! More Loot, Less Consumables to Use, Double Job XP. All Next Week! So it's time to work hard and get it done!
For those of you who have completed NY, do your best to help out those that haven't and send your consumables regularly! (Or call me hehe)
I got this from the official Mafia Wars blog :

I think they will also released the Money Laundering Collections officially as special featured job bonus. Now it's only applied to choosen or random players. Well, for those who have not completed New York yet, this is your time to!
