Shadow King Mission - Battle in Bangkok Issue

Yesterday, Hayden has posted about the walkthru for Battle in Bangkok Mission here.

He has difficulty on doing the last part of the Mission ie Shadow King Mission!

Somehow we can not fight the Shadow King!

Once again, Zynga is aware about this issue and announce it on the Customer Support page :

Incoming player reports have stated the 'Defeat the Shadow King' Mission does not auto-complete if the Shadow King has already been defeated in Bangkok. This Problem has been identified and will be corrected by end of day 03/10/2011.

And if you feel so lazy to submit a ticket, just go the Customer Support page related with the issue here and click on the vote button available there :

I think they have fixed it because Hayden was able to finish the Mission and have edited the post with the final result. Of course he was succeeded on defeating the Shadow King Boss and able to get the Grand Prize!

Mission Bugs!

So sorry for my late posting..
Yesterday a friend sent me this email..

Hi,

When I do the mission in one of my fake I got this bug, instead of getting wooden boxes I got a good loot for each single click.
I have also attached the link of the mission and am still gaining them for each click :D

Actually I also experience this problem when I'm doing my Missions, I have tried to contact Zynga Support and they are eagerly to help me, the problem is fixed. You can try to contact them too if you have any issue on your game.

This case is different.

So this player used a tool to loot the Wooden Boxes from this mission, let's see what he got :

All of these items are from the Holiday event ie No Crime Like The Present as the presents..

We are meant to open our presents on New Year's Day..

Somehow he got them all just by doing the jobs!

What a lucky player he is, don't you think?

To make you sure that he got all items, here is his Inventory at that time..

I don't mind NOT to get those Wooden Boxes but got these special items instead!

Attack/Defense Strength Drop

"I just got a MWStatsAdjustment notice."

or "We recently experienced an issue with item availability and drop rates where Holiday themed items which were not available yet were being looted at abnormally high rates."

If you received this notice today, it's in regards to unreleased items from our Holiday Event. Those items were unintentionally available yesterday as loot drops at an abnormally high frequency. The items were automatically removed. We have records of players that purchased energy refills during the time period of the bug and those will have those Reward Points automatically restored by our systems over the next several days. Alternate loot from the correct loot probabilitites will be substituted at a normal loot drop ratio over the next several days.

Players will be allowed to retain experience points from the jobs they did, as well as job mastery.

Players may notice their attack/defense strength decrease as a result of the removal of the unreleased items.

Customer Support is not authorized to restore the RP from energy refills, nor the items removed.

Ouch!

I really hope that he still got these items! Still waiting for his response now..

New Operation - Secure Rudolph

There is one new Operation available now..
It called Secure Rudolph, one of Medium type Operations..

I was lucky to get in the Operation because I can not trigger mine yet..

There are 5 spots for you to choose. And here are the possible rewards for completing the operation :

New Missions For Italy

Just like New York city, Italy also has new Missions!

To see New York Missions, please read my blog post here : New Missions For New York City.

I have asked one of my best mafia which has the new Missions in Italy. His name is Thomas, so thanks a lot to Thomas for providing me with the screenshots!

Missions in Italy is a bit different with New York city.

Here we need to ask for some new Consumables or Special Items before we're able to do the objectives!

You can check these Special Items on your New Inventory page eventhough you don't have them yet. Thanks to VaibhaV for the info!

Just use this filter :

There will be around 9 pages there but so far only 4 items described as special items for completing the Missions.

Back to the Missions now, here are some example of the new Missions in Italy..

You can see that you need to get some Special Items before you can do the missions.

On this mission, you don't need any special items.. just do the jobs and get that rewards!

This one needs you to help 1 war and also collect 2 times from your Dockyard in Italy. Pretty odd missions.. but creative!

The next Missions have 3 parts. It called Take Out Vastola : Part 1-3!

The missions above requires you to get some special items from your beloved mafias, declaring war plus buy 2 items from Port.. This will also need times to finish since we can only buy 1 item in Port per day without using any RPs.

Last Mission for today is this one called Raid The Evidence Locker, so far I only have screenshot for Part 1.

This mission is different where you have to win 10 Fights in Vegas and also open 10 Mystery Bags! So curious to know about the next parts... Zynga team is getting creatives on making the objectives!

Please be noticed that on each Missions you are able to buy the objective using some amount of Reward Points. Please, do NOT buy it! Do your jobs patiencely..

Make sure that you help your family everyday, in hope that they will return in a good favours anytime you need help!

New Missions For New York City

So we know that the new mission is only available on city that you have NOT mastered yet.
I think the mission purpose is to encourage us to finish the city faster...

Liaw has sent me some screenshots of the new Missions for New York city.

He has not finished New York yet, so somehow the Mission tab is suddenly appear just below his the game tabs.

About the Mission, this New York missions do not need any Consumables, do not have any option to publish for help.

Back to Liaw now and his Missions now..

He has completed the first mission named Embezzle Political Funds : Part 1, now time to collect the rewards..

Here it is :

You can also publish it so your friends can collect free Loyalty Points.

Here is another mission called Disrupt A Sting. Time to collect the rewards again :

Here are the rewards for this mission : Harpoon GT car, 30K of Vegas Chips and some XP.

Then you can see that there is a NEW MISSION available...

Click on it and the new Mission is there waiting to be accomplished.

Every Mission has different objective(s). Now the mission called Embezzle Political Funds : Part 2. The ingame character orders you to do 2 objectives : finish one job and do robbing!

PFor 'Perform A Hit' of the Embezzle Political Fund : Part 2, click the 'GO NOW' button and you will be directed to New York 'Street Thug' tier. Don't waste your 15 RPs to buy it. Do the Job 15 times and you shall complete it.

Ok, again.. another mission is appearing under the game tabs.

You know the drill.. finish it!

Also another one after the previous one..

Finally, all missions done!

You can see now we have "check" mark above the head icon below.

Eh wait, there is another Mission appearing!

This time you have to Kill Richard Parson.. In order to do that, we have 3 objectives now..

Finish the objectives one by one.. First go to Weapon Depot & build 2 weapons, any weapons of your choice.. After that go Fight page, you can see we have Richard Parson and some witness as our targets!

Attack Richard (8 stamina) & 5 witnesses (2 stamina each).

This mission needs some efforts because we have to use RPs if you want to build 2 weapons at a time. And also need some Staminas to kill Richard and 5 witnesses.

For completing this Mission we get L$10,000, 10 Victory Coin & 735 Experience. No cool items..

So no reason to finish it in rush!

I think it's enough for New York missions.

I'm waiting forward if anybody can give me some examples of Missions in Italy.
