How To Increase Your Status and Mastery Bar On Loyalty Points Program

Here is the info given by someone about how to actually increase your status on Loyalty Point Program.. I have been collecting Loyalty Points from helping out my families with their requests, etc.. still I don't have it move from Emerald Status..

I know that there have been a lot of questions related to the reward program and purchasing points to level up, so I decided to email them and I got two responses. The first was a copy pasted listing of the info thats on the site, completely ignoring my questions. The second

(after I pointed out they had ignored me and suggesting that a lawyer was looking into the legality or their system.. hehehe) was a bit more informative, but still evasive.

Here is the second letter. Feel free to post it on your site to let people know what they are saying, for good or bad true or not.

My name is William and I will be glad to assist you today. I understand you need
more information regarding our Loyalty Program. First of all, I'd like to thank you
for your interest in our new Loyalty Program and I would like to provide you with a little information regarding your Status and Mastery Bar.

Your status is based on Reward Points purchases as well as Loyalty Points earned by being an active player and helping out your Mafia. You may qualify for a promotion by continuing to make in-game purchases and playing Mafia Wars. We do not list a specific dollar amount associated with each tier because the levels are based on a combination of Loyalty Points earned from purchases and in-Game activities.

In order to protect the privacy of our players, we do not list the total Loyalty
Point amount needed to upgrade to a different tier. Also, in an effort
to maintain fairness in the Game, the requirements to receive a Loyalty Program
promotion are the same for all players.

As for the Mastery Bar, your Mastery Bar increases as you spend within
your tier and determines how close you are to qualifying for the next status. Your monthly requirement is the other component that determines how close you are to qualifying for the next status. Once you have satisfied your monthly requirement and your Mastery Bar is at 100%, you will be upgraded to the next tier.

Unfortunately, -----, we are unable to reveal the secret formula that
determines how much the Mastery bar progresses.

The point is that you have to spend some of your money to purchase Reward Points.. That way they will be counted as a dedicated player, just like Veron..

Yes, she spent lots of money on this game and Zynga loves her! She has been awarded with 10K of Loyalty Points!

So when will your mastery level turn from Emerald to Gold (only by collecting LP)? Only God knows..

You've Earned Gold Status!

Just yesterday, I have posted about Veron's Exclusive Reward for become a Gold Member on Loyalty Points Program..

She was purchasing some Reward Points and earned 400 Loyalty Points in less than 3 months.. that's why she was eligible to get the 3,000 Loyalty Points and Gold Member status now!

Today, Haider sent me screenshot that he also get the Gold Member and different bonus from Veron.

This is the pop up message he got on his game..

This one is taken from his email sent by Zynga..

Haider got rewards of 1,000 Loyalty Points and 1x Power Riffle weapon!

For your information, Haider has more than 400 Loyalty Points that he got from purchasing some amount of Reward Points (not as much as Veron did), from helping friends on their upgrade thingy, and from receiving-sending gift requests. He has his Loyalty Point meter full already but still don't see the message until now finally he got it!

So, we have to make conclusion here.. If we see Zynga's explanation about how to upgrade your level from Emerald to Gold member, you have to earn 400 LPs!

3,000 LPs will be rewarded if you earn your first 400 LPs in less than 3 months!

While I have more than 400 LPs now on Emerald level and still doesn't have my meter is fully refilled.

I guess, the requirements of having 400 LPs is not true..

It only works if you PURCHASE Reward Points and have your meter to raise up! Or do you have any comments about this program?

Still, there are several ways to earn some Loyalty Points.. I have made few blog post about it including this one : Earn Loyalty Points.

You can still collecting this LPs and hope that Zynga will upgrade your level and give you the rewards..

Mafia Wars Loyalty Program

This feature is a dedicated special to Credit Card player!

But we can have it randomly from the game as Emerald, Gold or Platinum member.. someone even mention there is a Diamond member!

Let's say you are chosen as a Gold Member (even if you NEVER buy Reward Points on your account).. You can have benefits as a Gold Member.. not sure what the benefits are, but I don't want to discuss it furthermore..

Apparently there is a limit of time if you have chosen to become Gold member! Once you ignore the suggestion to add more Loyalty Points (in other words, you have to buy some amount of Reward Points), you will be downgraded to lower level ie Emerald member!

What a funny feature..

One of our friend Davo experiences this and now he has this pop up on his game suggesting him to earn more Loyalty Points this month to regain his Gold status!

He only says, "NEVER!".

Well, you don't have to worry about this feature. Just ignore it and let Credit Card players spend their bucks..

Gold Player!

This is a small info about the Loyalty Points..

Our friend, Mak, has this pop up on his account.. He never upgrades his Loyalty Member from Emerald to Gold. It's just suddenly he is awarded as a Gold Member from the start!

He got the bonus weapon.. but that's all!

No more bonus, only a suggestion to add more Loyalty Points by purchasing Reward Points...

Loyalty Program: Q/A from Zynga

I don't really care about the Loyalty Program from Zynga... It's definitely not for me..

But in case lots of you are curious about this, you can read the info here given by -Ra-, hope it helps..

Many MW players are confused about this new Loyalty Program feature, specially that they can get point upgrade to the loyalty bar and increase their tier without paying real life money. I have mailed Zynga about this, here is my question(s) and their reply.


Q. I saw this message "Purchase Reward Points or play to increase your mastery" so it means other than spending money we can also get loyalty points from playing, then how much we have to play to get 1%/5% on the loyalty program bar?

And if you check the record many have spent good amount of money on Mafia Wars in past but they are still Emerald tier Player(s), doesn't our past purchase counts towards this new loyalty program? Since its about loyalty shouldn't Zynga be also loyal to those players who spent money on this game in past too and give them bonus so that they feel better and maybe they will spend more in future.

A. I understand you're inquiring about the New Mafia Wars Loyalty Program.

Let me inform you that the new program has several tiers: Emerald, Gold, and Platinum. You will earn loyalty points (LP) as you play more or spend more. You earn LP when you purchase reward points, play Mafia Wars, or click on Mafia Wars feeds and requests that your friends post to offer you bonuses. (Note: this is the 10 LP bonus we can get when someone publish their tier or tier upgrade post, we can get 10 LP every 24 hours, ONLY IF SOMEONE POST IT IN OUR MAFIA FAMILY)

You start as an Emerald Player or with a more elite status depending on your loyalty to Mafia Wars. You can achieve a higher status and earn better privileges the more you spend or the more you play.

We currently released the Loyalty Program to a small percentage of our users. Later this week we will roll out this feature to everyone when we can ensure a smooth transition. We value your loyalty as a Mafia Wars fan and are thrilled to provide you with the privileges and rewards you deserve.

Well, he didn't or simply don't want to answer release information on how much we have to play to get say 1% increase in our loyalty program bar, because like many other mafia wars player I too simply dont want to spend real life money on this game. And in Emerald tier we only get 1 LP for every US$ we spend now thats robbery.

I have to agree with -Ra-..

The information given above are simply pasted from Zynga thread.. and you have to be a very rich person who spend lots of bucks to get the upgrade from Emerald member, to become Gold and then Platinum member!

However I know that some of players are being chosen to become Gold or Platinum randomly (perhaps looking at the history of their bills on Zynga records).
