Updated Daily Take

The Daily Take has been updated and it's much different than it was before. Now when you click on the Daily Take Link located at the lower right corner of your Home Page Current Event Module or the Collect Button from the Daily Take banner, you will get something different.

You now get to choose from 6 different items. The items get better with each day.

Click on the "Collect" button under the item that you want and it will be rewarded to you.

You can share the items that you didn't want with your mafia by clicking the "Share this take" button. A news feed post will be generated.

When your mafia members click on "Get daily take reward", they will have the option to choose from the remaining rewards. The rewards will vary on which day of the Daily Take is being shared. You can accept up to 5 of these a day.

I chose the last item and here is the screen I got. The second screen is from a post I found in my news feeds.

6 days ago, I posted about 5 new loot items that were added to our inventory (1). They were all labeled as Special Event items and there were many guesses as to what type of event they would be offered.

The mystery of the items shown above has been solved.

If you go past 7 days, the feature becomes The Golden Take. Here is an image from someone who got there. We will have to wait to see what comes next as there shouldn't be anyone above this level at this time. I checked the Official Mafia Wars Blog and the Customer Support page but I think they don't care about informing us anymore. There are many images posted on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page if you want to see more items that are now offered from the Daily Take.

Pseudo Stamina Bug: Beware of mafiawars.com

I've seen quite a few players state that they lost the extra 25% stamina they gained from the Power Packs as soon as they performed a game action. This wasn't a surprise as Zynga has had a long history with this type of bug. For some reason stamina causes issues when it goes over 100% . We saw this all the time when the Daily Take offered a 125% Stamina Boost (1).

I tested it out and found that everything worked great when I was playing from Facebook. When I went to mafiawars.com, I lost the extra stamina and went down to 100%. Remember when you unframe Mafia Wars you are automatically directed to mafiawars.com.  This applies even when you unframe from Facebook.  The best way to prevent losing your extra stamina is to say in a framed game from Facebook and do game tasks manually until you reach 100%. I'm working on videos to document and will post those at a later time as you need to wait 8 hours between Power Packs.

I knew that for some accounts you will have a new place for your "Daily Take" bonus..

It is placed below the module, not above it!

Just click on the button to claim your bonus..

I still have the one on the above module..

Not sure why they make the changing about this..

The collections now changed to be Operations Collection, used to be Mission Collections. You can find it under Mission tab..

If you still want to collect the Operation Collection items, you can follow the tricks on the link above....

Also there is one tips given by Guga.. He sent me the screenshot around weeks ago (sorry Guga, I forgot to post this one).

You can also get Sniper Scopes collection from claiming your Daily Take..

It's not that difficult, right?

Choose the first trick, read the notes carefully and try it!

Or just play this game everyday.. and after the day 5th.. pray to get this rare collection item.

The Daily Take Glitch

I'm still traveling now.. and thanks God I finally have my internet connection..

Ok, I got this info from Aaron.. please read on..

Attached is a copy of my daily take bonus for today. I won stamina increase. You use that for fighting and robbing right? So how does this automatically increase my total fight wins.

Look at the numbers for fight wins before and after. Also attached is screen shot of my actual stats. Note circled are my increased fight win, it's not only a glitch for the daily take, it effects your stats.

Well, the counter is not doing good on some servers, I think..

Also if you take a look at your "Longest Hitlists Survival" it will be the same as some others mafia..

Not sure if this is the result of the new event of Halloween or its simply from the timer glitch..

My Gold Treasure Chests

We're daily players and eligible to claim our Daily Take!

Thanks God, the Gold Treasure Chest Key is still dropping from this feature.. otherwise we have to buy it from the Marketplace using some Reward Points!

One of our friend is opening his chests and got these items.. Woot! What a plenty of gold chests!

The items are good!

When I open my gold chests, I'd love to have Reward Points more than getting Limited Edition Items.. Just like this one sent by Umer..

Pint Of Stout & The Daily Take Bugs!

One friend still got this annoying bug.. when he opened his Mystery Bag, he got this :

Dublin has over! We don't need this item, Zynga!

And today, I click on the Daily Take link on the Daily Checklist... see what I got then..

It's nothing!

I am a daily player and got nothing for my daily take..

This is an old issue, but some players still has this bug.. They can not vault these collections!

I also notice that the Release Notes feature has stop from being updated... don't know why..

But I guess Zynga team is busy on mobile web, or else..

Hope these kind of bugs will be eliminated soon..

Vegas Boss is still hard to defeat.. Not only because of the Health that he has, but also the fight is still giving some bugs and errors.

Marvel has decimal Health when he fights this Boss!

It's weird for me, I never seen it on my game.

Last time I fought this Boss, I wanted to cry because somehow the Boss can regenerate his Health while fighting with me and even worse, suddenly he has his FULL Health!

Thanks God I was able to call for help and finally could defeat him...

It's really annoying, I hope I don't find anymore bugs while defeating another Boss in another fights..

And got this one from Edmund..

I'm a Fearless character, but lately been geting both Top Mafia Mastermind & Top Mafia Wheelman Bonus. Prior to this I never got top mafia mastermind bonus.

Not sure if somebody also has this bug in Vegas..

This is happening many times... There is a bug of Reward Points, if you want to buy something, telling you that you don't have enough RPs to buy it!

Please check on the screenshot below..

Joao wanted to buy a Gold Treasure Chest Key at the discounted price, he has 12 RPs but he got the error message above!

Not a good one..

He also has this bug.. On the screen below showing that he has not finish this tier yet, but somehow he got the RUBY master already!

Here is a glitch that still last..

You can open gift requests using Zynga Message Center inside the game... collect all your gifts using this way..

And then quickly go to FaceBook request page and collect the same gift requests from the same person.

Yes, you can claim each gift twice!
