Three Bonus of Top Mafia!

Several months ago, we were able to become more than one Top Mafia of one player.. There was a cheat way to do it, but I never post it because of a simple reason.. my best mafia asked me not to post (in case Zynga team read the post and then fix the glitch). Lots of fan page or site knew about it and have published the way.. then Zynga fixed it!

Old players are familiar with this and still enjoy the bonus..

Somehow, some players still able to have the three bonus using new way.. and for you who wants to have it again, you can read this email sent by our friend below..

Hello my dear friend,

I'm a great fan of your blog, but I rarely mailed you. Today I sent u a screenshot where I got Top mafia Mastermind, Wheelman and Bagman bonus. I changed my character in every types, and my friends promoted me as there bagman and wheelman. So that why I got this 3 bonus in the same time. Please post this interesting image to your great blog :D

I am one of the player who was taking advantage of the old glitch... so I don't need to try the new one.. It will cost some Reward Points and some time to do that until you are able to have the three bonus..

First, ask to promote yourself as a Top Mafia.. And then do the class changing!
You need to go to the Marketplace, changing your character or class type, ask some mafia to promote you to become the Top Mafia of this character... Then change your character again by spending another Reward Points.. ask to promote again as the new class..

You will have the three bonus as long as there are some players who promote you!

So make sure you have lots of mafia who cares about you and willing to help..

(Will be easy if you have some noobs, you can help yourself this way).

New Feature - Class Change!

Tired becoming a Maniac and would love to receive more cash from job? Change your class!

You can visit GodFather and asks him to change your class.. of course you have to give him 15 of your Reward Points..

You have 3 options of class : Mogul, Fearless or Maniac.

What about the Top Mafia bonus?

Well I have tried it.. nothing's changing with it!
For example : If you were a Fearless type and you are the Wheelman of many people from mafia family.. even if you change your class character type from Fearless to Maniac or Mogul.. you are still the Wheelman of those people!
If you want to be a Top Mafia for some people, ask them to re-promote you based on your class character now..

Your Mafia Wars Character

This is a very first basic on Mafia Wars game.. but there are some of you who sent me email asking about this. So here you go..

There are three basic character types in Mafia Wars :

The Mogul character type has increased cash flow with cash coming in every 54 minutes instead of every hour. A mogul is also the only character type that can be a Top Mafia Bagman. If assigned to be a Top Mafia Bagman in a friend's mafia you have the chance to earn double the money from performing jobs.

The Maniac character type has increased energy regeneration with a new energy point being awarded every 3 minutes instead of every 5 minutes. A maniac is also the only character type that can be a Top Mafia Button man. If assigned to be a Top Mafia Button man in a friend's mafia you have the chance to automatically win any fight that you initiate.

The Fearless character type has increased health regeneration. A Fearless character is also the only character type that can be a Top Mafia Wheelman. If assigned to be a Top Mafia Wheelman in a friend's mafia you have the chance to complete jobs without spending any energy.

Changing your character type:

Changing your character type is not an available option. If you would like to change your character type you will need to reset your character and start over.

Resetting your character:

Unfortunately we are unable to manually reset your character. A reset is possible, however it can only be achieved by removing the application for a 90 day period.

If you re-install the application at any time during this 90 day period, the time frame will automatically restart. After the 90 day period is over your character will be deleted, which will allow you to start over.

So don't leave your game idle for 3 months.. you have to start over!

Changing your character's name:

The Godfather will grant you a name change for 15 Godfather points. You can take him up on this offer by paying a visit to the Godfather page.

Obtaining and Setting your character's title:

Each job tier has its own title and each level of job mastery has its own rank. To obtain a new title you will need to master ALL of the jobs on that tier level. You can then set your title by going to your profile page.


I know now that new players don't have a choice anymore of choosing their characters. It's random by the game.

Choosing Your Character Type

You can change your name later, but there is a fairly hefty cost, so think about how you would like your Mafioso name to be. "Don" plus your last name works well and the game supports multiple people with the same name. Default Don is the most common name out there followed by all the characters from the Godfather. The more unique and memorable your name, the easier it is for friends to find you.

As for character type, here is a break down on what the choice entails. Currently, there is no way to change it once you make it, so consider carefully.

Mogul

Energy: every 5 min.
Health: every 3 min.
Money: every 54 min instead of 60 min.
Stamina: every 5 min.

As Bagman: small chance to gain double the money when performing jobs.

As a Mogul your cash flow comes every 54 minutes rather than every hour for the other character types. As a Mogul you are also the only character type eligible for being a Bagman. As a Bagman in one of your friend?s Top Mafia, you have the change to get double money from performing jobs. Since we want to be generating passive income rather than earned and there is no real use for money anymore once you get to around level 40, this is the least interesting of the character types unless your friend group happens to need more eligible Bagmen options.

Maniac

Energy: every 3 min instead of 5 min.
Health: every 3 min.
Money: every 60 min.
Stamina: every 5 min.

As Button Man: small chance to always win fights initiated.

As a Maniac, your energy regenerates at a rate of 1 every 3 minutes instead of 5. You also become eligible to be a Button Man which gives you a chance to automatically win any fight you initiate. General consensus on the web before the Top Mafia changes was this was the best type to choose since energy drives a lot of your leveling. The flip side to this is if you are speed leveling, you are counting more on the energy refills from leveling up and Energy Paks than from natural regeneration. The special Top Mafia ability is not very exciting as we only initiate fights we expect to win anyway. Basically, it boils down to out of the 5-10% of fight you lose to Critical hits, you win about 5% of them instead.


Fearless

Energy: every 5 min.
Health: every 2 min instead of 3 min.
Money: every 60 min.
Stamina: every 5 min.

As Wheelman: small chance to perform jobs for no energy.

As a Fearless character your health regenerates at a faster rate. You also have the ability to be a Top Mafia Wheel Man which has the best special ability. Whenever you perform a job, there is a small chance that job costs no energy. Since at higher levels jobs can cost as much as 60 energy to run, this is a very non-trivial bonus and greatly aid the speed at which you level. The health regeneration itself is not a very meaningful bonus since using the hospital to top off at any point in time is a non-issue.

Now the question is, which among these 3 Mafia characters is the best choice in starting the game?!

The answer is the Maniac. Why?! Since Maniac recovers energy faster, this is a great advantage in playing the game.

To level up your Mafia character, you need to do different jobs to gain experience and to earn money. But what you need to do a job is energy. The more the energy, the more jobs you can do. You earn more money when you do more jobs so choosing a Mogul is not that a wise decision. Maximum health points can be improved when you level up so you really need more energy in playing and enjoying the game.
