Crime Spree and Secret Stash Removal

Zynga have finally announced that they have removed the Crime Spree and Secret Stash feature.
However, the reason they provided on removing these 2 features are nonsense. The reason why low amount of users were using this feature was because of the crap rewards/loots which you are able to receive.
I'll look forward in the new and exciting features they claimed though. Hopefully not much spam is needed for the new features..

Two "Cape Buffalo" Items

Thanks to our beloved admin TOKO who posted this 2 same items on the Mafia Wars Maniac fan page :

I check on my Inventory and yes there are 2 of this items with different stats! 1 from Secret Stash feature and another one is from Private Zoo in New York Property (limited time item).

There are too many items already on this game.. It's not the first time we have 2 same items with different stats! I guess the Developers need better Inventory so they don't mess with the same items..

Secret Stash - Reward for Helping Mafia

I needed help from my mafia to click on my link i have shortened to complete my Secret Stash...
I tested out the link through my alternate account, and i was surprised that we're able to get a reward from helping!

Here is the status message which i had posted on my Facebook wall. TinyURL link was generated by the FB MW Addon.

I decided to try out the link using one of my alternate account, and this is what i saw when Mafia Wars have loaded -

The screenshots states, "Congratulation, you got the Final Word for helping".


I thought the reward for helping out your Mafia to complete their Secret Stash mission is only 10 LP, so i decided to check out my inventory for the item.

To my surprise, I really received the weapon, but sadly it is useless.

Is anyone out there receiving rewards other than the usual 10 LPs?

Secret stash loot!

If u thought every time a secret stash pops up and u have to choose ur loot within the few seconds and u gonna fail getting it, u have been mistaken!


Till now I only have won one directly without asking my mafia to help and it was an easy worthless loo, so Im not sure if it gonna work on the medium or the hard ones :)

The New Secret Stash Feature

Ok, Luis has posted about the new Secret Stash feature 411 here.
My account has it already and I had chance to do it today

You will have a chance to get one Secret Stash appear from doing jobs, fighting, or by robbing!
I was doing a job and got it :

Ok, so I could not wait to get started! What I did was grabbing the icon of my 3 available friends and put each of them  under Medium. (I chose Medium because on above screenshot, I got it "checked" already.. not sure if we can choose the other box ie Easy or Rare. Or perhaps it's just like our Operation where we are chosen on which kind of Secret Stash by the game).

Ok, I chose my friends but got this message :

Not sure what's happening, maybe I pass the 15 seconds time limit??? Or just not my lucky day to get one Secret Stash item..

When you're able to get it, you will see this kind of image :

So I only got error message, I can start to get help from my mafia.. I can chose any mafia and I'm sure this will reduce my gift request for today.. Since I only need 6 helpers for this Medium Secret Stash, I'd better to send 6-8 gift requests from recommended friends.

To see how many friends which already help you on this feature, go to Operations >> SECRET STASHES tab..

Nah I already asked for help, I will have to wait until at least 6 friends answer my request.

What my friends see will be like this on the FaceBook request page..

Or this one under Zynga Message Center (ZMC) list..

Just click on "Accept" button and you will send it to me.

The final person who answer my Secret Stash request will see this message :

Ok, so 6 persons helped me and now I can click on "Claim" button.

Hmmm, what can I say about this new Secret Stash???
I like the idea to have new items but the effort is too much, don't you think?

Specially if we want to have the rare items from Hard Secret Stash, we need 12 helpers! It's another spam events!

I'm sure our 3rd party tool is doing something about this at the moment.. So less effort is needed to get your items.

Have fun collecting new Secret Stash items, guys! 

Fake Secret Stash Bonus!

Don't click on any button on that bonus! Come on, Zynga will not give you 1,000 Reward Points as bonus!!!

Please check the icon of the bonus is not coming from Mafia Wars game.. the genuine Secret Stash bonus will be like this one below :

Hackers or crackers are getting very creative now.
They will try many ways to hack your accounts, take over your game or steal your loot items.

One tip comes from our friend, Josh, that you can change Privacy Settings on your FaceBook account, so no one can post on your wall.

So if you see this fake bonus, please remove or delete it immediately!

There will be a new update of Secret Stash items soon, please check on the info posted by Jennifer on the official blog of Mafia Wars here.

It's a good idea since we got bored with the current items we got from Secret Stash.

Sometimes we got some text saying that "we can not steal it from xxx" OR that the stash has already been found!
