New Home Page Layout!

Yes, some players has already the new Home page layout...

Jennifer has made an article about the new layout on the official blog :

I also have it now on my account. I must admit that I don't like it! Perhaps because we're not use to it.. or perhaps something else.. Let's discuss about it, my friends..

The new layout has divided into some moduls..

1. Your Mafia Activity

This modul has 2 pages (at the moment) where you can see a flash image that changes in few seconds..

From this modul, you can check your current mafia activities.

One mafia needs help on their Properties upgrade, another one has an active war, and you can also send gift via this page..

One think that it gone is Daily Checklist box!

But thanks God we can still claim our Daily Take bonus from this page.. show the all updates from the Live Updates feeds.

Also you can see in-game promo, sales items, etc..

2. Your Game Progress

You can see your available Energy Pack and also able to use it from here..

This modul shows your current job and latest city activity..

3. Build Your Empire

This modul can show you all of your Properties in New York.

Well, it is cool to have some improvements.. For example :

We can collect our Properties parts and also build the item from this page..


To show all items, there is available one button there so you can go to each Property page..

4. Player Updates

This box still there on the Home page tab..

But wait, now it is ALSO available on the "My Mafia" page tab.

Yes, we have double of this feature now.. from the new Home page layout and "My Mafia" page tab. It's kind of waste, I think..

If I can choose, I want to have combination of the old and new layout.

I like the Daily Checklist box!

There we can see all info and messages about the game.. We can see incoming gifts from our beloved family, we can see info about Daily Chance, etc..

Really want if Zynga team include Daily Checklist on the new Home page.. I'll be waiting then...

My Mafia's Friend Ladder

If you go to Home page tab today, you will see this message..

I went there to see what is the changing?

Then I see that I have to allow the flash thingy to make it works..

We have discussed about this a very long time ago.. just allow it..

So, you can sort to see your mafia friend by using some filters...

Below, I choose to use "Recent Activity" filter to see my mafia..

And please notice that I have 74x Hired Guns!

What's this?

Do you think that they come from each levelling up?

You know that now we have +1 Hired Gun everytime we level up..

Mafia Wars : Flash Issue

Some of you have this message popping-up on your "My Mafia" layout..

I don't have it on my game, I think I have this setting set to automatically accept the request.

I'm trying to figure out what is this and arrive on Zynga forum which discussing about this issue..

Here is the answer of one member there :

"Zynga wants to store some data so the pages load more quickly. You can control if you want to allow it, disallow it, or allow within limits.

Bookmark that page! It is about the only way to get rid of such data.

If you look it over, you will doubtless find a LOT of sites have already dropped flash data on your drives and they suppress the popup you are seeing. At least Zynga is not doing that."

I'm not an expert about this.. but I think it's good to visit the Adobe Flash site above and bookmark it..

"My Mafia" feature need more local storage that your computer chace can afford, so I think that's why you have that message on your game everytime you are on "My Mafia" layout. All Adobe is asking if it should allow in the increase of your cache size.

Now you can visit the site and control what you want to do with your chace size or simply you can click on 'Never ask again' to deny that pop-up..

New Mafia Wars Home Page

Thanks to Hashim & Alex Wars for the screenshot..

Now we have new layout for Mafia Wars Home page.. Please see below screenshots..

We see there they put "My Mafia" in vertical view.. I think I like it..
Can not until they apply this new layout on my account too...

"My Mafia" Feature

Zynga has updated "My Mafia" feature.. Check their explanation about this here ..

Now we can do filtering on our mafias.. If you have large amount of mafia, you can sort them by using :

• Rank
• Alphabetical
• New Mafia
• Top Mafia
• Need Help
• Need Energy

You can also type the FaceBook name of your mafia to find it faster on "search" box available there..

Here are the screenshot of how you can see what your mafia need from My Mafia feature :

Need Help

Yes, you can just click on mobile phone icon to help Don Q on his job help.

Need items from wishlist

You can directly click on "Send" button below the specific item you'd like to give to your mafia.

Need energy

Click on the energy pack button to send him one.


Warning!

You have to be careful about fulfilling the wishlist of your mafia. If you accidently click on "Send" button, you can not redo it! The game will just send it right away.. so please look at the items on their wishlist and see if you have enough to give before you click on "Send" button.
