Limited Time Features/Events Time Check

This & Last week was a really busy week for Mafia Wars players, and also the Home Page where the banners are placed up. I have summed up all the stuffs happening last week and also the ones currently happening in this post..

There is only around 5 more hours left for you to take 'advantage' of the Bloody Christmas Marketplace Sale. It is completely useless, but there should be more Marketplace Sales coming out soon.

The Holiday Treasure Hunt. All the loots have been dropped and completed by most of us. This feature will be removed in 1 day and 5 hours. Complete it while it is still available. Remember, loots are not the most important thing in this game, skill points are the best. To view the loots which were and are currently dropping, see: Item #2 (Candy Cane), Item #3 (Ornament) and lastly, Item #4 (Stocking).

The Lexington Hotel will close in 1 day and 22 hours. For those who have not complete collecting 50 of each loot for the Attack, Defense and Skill Points, time is running out! We may see this Secret District coming back, but you would most probably have to pay to complete it again.

The 2x Mastery in Chicago will end in around 5 more hours. If you have not completed Chicago, it's time to start rushing through the districts! However, due to the double mastery, many of us have trouble getting clams. All you have to do is go back to the previous jobs and do it a few times and you would have your clams.

The Dearly Departed Mission Event. We still have under 8 days to complete it. Do not collect anything from your property, etc, before checking out the Walk Through which will guide you through the missions.

The Ice Season: 13 event will end in around 17 more hours. If you still have not iced 1,500 players, it's time to hurry up or attack minis to gain more ices or else you would miss out on the Ruby prize!

The Limited Time Buildable Property, the Toy Store. We still have under 1 day and 21 hours left to complete it. Start asking for parts every 8 hours and spam the links to your mafia if you still have not completed it. Another way to complete it easily is to contact Customer Support and they should upgrade your property by 1 level each time you complain about the feature.

And lastly, Wrap It Up. This is not a event or a new feature, it's just Zynga's way of informing you that the Contract Missions will be going away on Thursday, 29th December, 6:00 AM (PST). If you are unsure which mission are the contract ones, view the Contract Missions, here.

Holiday Treasure Hunt: Item #4 (Stocking)

The fourth and also the last item, the Stocking, of the Holiday Treasure Hunt is now out. Collect 150 of the Stocking to receive your 6 chances to open the treasure chests.

The banner of the Holiday Treasure Hunt on the Home Page have been updated to display the Stocking.

The Stocking will drop from Fighting, Robbing and Jobbing. It has high drop rates or the same as the previous items, the Candy Cane and the Ornament.

Holiday Treasure Hunt: Item #3 (Ornament)

The third item, the Ornament, of the Holiday Treasure Hunt is now out. Collect 150 of the Ornament to receive your 6 chances to open the treasure chests.

The banner of the Holiday Treasure Hunt on the Home Page have been updated to display the Ornament.

The Ornament will drop from Fighting, Robbing and Jobbing. The previous item, Candy Cane, had a really high drop rate compared to the Wreath. Same goes for the Ornament, it has a high drop rate too. Enjoy!

Holiday Treasure Hunt: Item #2 (Candy Cane)

UPDATE: The drop rate for Candy Canes are dropping at a high rate! Complete collecting 150 of them or else Zynga might ruin it before you do!

The next item needed to collect in order to receive 6 more chances is out! It is the Candy Cane.

The banner of the Holiday Treasure Hunt on the Home Page have been updated to display the Candy Cane item as well.

The Candy Cane would drop from Fighting, Robbing and Jobbing. If you are receiving a extremely low drop rate for Fighting, you may want to try fighting in Chicago or Brazil, as this two cities have high drop rates for the Wreath(previous item needed).

EDIT: Wreaths are still dropping even though the banner has disappeared!

The Holiday Treasure Hunt banner have been pulled back. We will have to wait for Zynga to add it back..

Holiday Treasure Hunt

Holiday Treasure Hunt have started! We have around 7 days left to complete it.

You will be able to earn a maximum of 6 changes per unique loot drop from Fighting, Robbing, Jobbing or buying more chances. New loot will be unlocked and being dropping every two days; previous loots will continue to drop, but at a lower rate. To solve the treasure hunt, you will have to collect all 6 limited-edition holiday prizes.

You will be able to purchase Holiday Lights from the Fight/Job/Robbing page.
