Vegas Jobs - How To Do Jobs?

Ok, for you who has entered Vegas.. you will be a little confuse on what to do next..

Choosing your path? Build a Casino? Or go fighting?

First, let's choose our path by visiting Vegas city..

There are 3 paths of doing jobs to reach Boss in each districts.. as far as I concern, you have to do ALL paths to reach Boss on each districts! So this is bad news for Energy account!

And you will see a map navigation.. here is the info about the symbols :


This is how to do jobs in Vegas :

So far, Vegas has 6 districts.. you can unlocked one by one after you have defeated the Boss.. I have been to District 5 and won on the Boss Fight but somehow it won't let me to unlocked District 6 yet..

Here are the mastery items I got from each Districts..

Apparently Vegas also has more than one mastery level because I also got this pop up message when I have mastered District 5..

So yes, we will have more than 1 mastery items from each district.. the star's color above each mastery items will change according to the district..

By the way, Vegas jobs can drop a lot of new items.. including new tools for building your new Properties in Vegas.. new loot items (weapon, armor, vehicle, animal).. requirement items needed to do advance jobs.. etc..

This is all about Vegas jobs.. will try to make another post about other feature soon..

Mafia Wars : Skill Area Bonus

One of our mafia fellow received this kind of bonus.. He didn't do nothing special.. just choosing the 24 hour job from Easter Job.. and directly had this pop up message..

Then he chose the first one..

He did the same thing on another account that he has.. but the bonus didn't show up!

That bonus is the same when we first chose our mafia type, whether it is Maniac, Fearless or Mogul, right?

Zynga team has a lot of surprises now.. They are doing some testers on chosen accounts.. I don't mind to be one of the tester.. as long as it is not a bad glitch..

Mafia Wars : Bonus Everywhere!

Now, we have the bonus on our game.. as well some changing on the Hospital and Bank layout..

If you do the jobs, will give you this 2% bonus as Fan appreciation from Zynga.. I don't know if you can have more than 2%, anyone?

And this one I took from Top Mafia - Disabled fan page on FaceBook.. belong to Yonks Man account that he pusblished the screenshot there..

Plus 1 Fan bonus on random fight..

I don't know what other bonus so far.. let's see soon...

Job Links Help!

I found this matter a problem for all of us.. been searching and find this on Top Mafia Forum.. credit to the admin for this great info!

Have you ever submitted a request for Job Help to find out that for whatever reason it didn't publish? This might have been additional experience that you were counting on to get leveled up. Without the request published to your news feed ... you may have to wait for awhile to level up otherwise.

What can be done? Fortunately you can post a link to your job request allowing your friends to complete it that way.

Note : must replace FACEBOOK ID with your ID

New Feature of Helping Job

New feature is out!

I was gonna help one of my mafia on job bonus.. suddenly this feature appear :

One box appear below the text of experience and money we got from helping a job. So we need to write a "thank you" comment. Of course you can write anything on it and then click on the "Post Comment" button.

I quickly go to his wall and find my comment has been publish there..

Kinda cool! So our mafia knows that we already help him/her doing the job.. But not all job bonus has this feature.. perhaps in the future??

Job Helper From Spockholm

My last post about DoJobs Patch doesn't work in New York.. but then Spockholm release this tool : Job Helper.

Can work on New York, Cuba and also Moscow.

Then instal the bookmarklet on your toolbar. Click on the tool whenever you want to help your mafias on their job bonus!

But remember, Zynga has limit that we can only do of 25 jobs per day..

DoJobs Patch Tool

I have noticed that Vern's DoJobs has not working.. I keep getting the log that All Done?

But thanks God, Spockholm has a patch. Only does jobs in Moscow and Cuba for now. But I don't mind about it..

Now, I'd like to share you this gorgeous tool named : DoJobs Bookmarklet.

But first of all, I should warn you : Use at your own risk! I am not responsible for anything that could happen if you use this


DoJobs Bookmarklet

Step 1: Install the Bookmarklet

# Drag bookmarklet to your bookmark bar
NOTE: These tools DO NOT work in Internet Explorer (try FireFox, Google Chrome, etc instead)




Step 2: Run the Bookmarklet

After running the bookmarklet, there will be two boxes that pop-up prompting for a delay and skip friends. I left both of these at "0". It looks like I will be able to test the "skip friends" option whenever Mafia Wars comes back online after some maintenance.

For this initial run, left the delay set to 0.

Since this was the 1st time running this, left this at 0. We'll probably try this feature later (may require an update to this note) since the bookmarklet got stopped (see screenshot below).

This bookmarklet must be run from the "Gifting Page". If you try to run it anywhere else, you will get a window that looks like this.



Here is what it looks like when you first start running the bookmarklet.

The bookmarklet continues working until the rest of your mafias number reached. I really like how the author incorporated a "Pause" button. This was actually used to level up (used stamina / energy) then resumed after leveling. Good job, Vern!

Here is what the bottom of the log looks like. The coding to allow this is again ... VERY NICE!!!

Step 3: Using the "Skip Friends"

This is really a well done bookmarklet. It turned out to be impeccable timing as far as us gathering reviewing this note as the process broke down during writing this note allowing us to utilize the "Skip Friends" option that appears during the startup of the bookmarklet.

These screenshots show resuming friends assistance right where the bookmarklet left off.

Back on track ... awarding XP and collecting the $$
