Here is some insight for you.

If you have not completed Cuba, this is your chance. You will be receiving 5X mastery so there should be enough time. Once the event is over, Cuba will be shutting down, but it may only be temporary.

We are beginning a new storyline in the game with the release of a new "villain" that is trying to take control of the crime world. The enemy will be the Empire and players will be like the Rebel Alliance. Completing this event will assist you with the new extension and provide an awesome payoff.

Player Advisory Committee - Fly To San Fransisco!

I made this post last month about Player Advisory Committee held by Zynga!

Check my blog post here to refresh your memory of this event : Player Advisory Committee and also this one from Zynga Support page : here.

Now once you have sent your email to VIP@mafiawars.com, they will chose 50 players to represent all of us there! Including the representative of all Members of The Angry Mob from MySpace users! Daily players, old and new ones..

If you visit the thread on Zynga Forum board about Player Advisory Committee, you will find lots of comments there. Mostly they are asking about who are they lucky players that will fly to San Fransisco?

Zynga said that the players that are picked will be notified on the forum. Then they changed it due to lots of Private Message sent to the Super Moderator of the forum :

Well you are a trader so that is 1 area covered, a blogger is covered, script writer is covered, big spender is covered, the rest we will have to see. I would imagine it will people with the largest "player bases" that will be selected. That only makes sense as they gave give Zynga a larger spectrum to look at. Congrats on making it, but since you guys are allowed to share anything....

Seems like Forum 2.0, as the way it originally was stated...I thought this was to give the people a voice. Now no one can talk about what is said because of the NDA, afraid of being sat on, and they wont be on the forum. What did this accomplish?

1) Getting a scripter in there...Possible outcome...Zynga purchases DB UID's of the players who use it. Yes I know this sounds mean, but look at it from a real perspective. If offered a large enough amount of money for that list. Who is going to turn it down?

2) Traders...Spies to report back to Zynga about crazy trading that doesn't seem possible.

3) Blogger...You have someone who can tell the world that Zynga really does care and look at what they are doing to get player feedback. Though they have a forum set up for it and also a Dev sub forum.

4) Big Spenders...You of course want to keep them feeling all warm and fuzzy. This gives the illusion of being caring and looking out for them. You must keep them happy.

I could be wrong, but in lurking in the forum and playing the game. Everyone in the game has seen them take and take and not look at things from a players perspective.

There should be a statistics person(s) who touch enough people that they can get long term projections on how often loot drops from jobs, fighting, robbing... That way it can be compared to the scope of play and see if the time lines meet up.

There should be at least 8 clan leaders
2 for under 50 members
2 for under 100 members
2 for under 150 members
2 for over 150 members

Random Daily Players
2 daily playing people under level 80
2 daily playing people under level 180
2 daily playing people under level 320
2 daily playing people under level 450
2 daily playing people under level 800
2 daily playing people under over level 1000

Account types
5 pure energy accounts
5 robbing accounts
5 fighter accounts
5 admins of heavy trading sites
5 people from the forum
5 random monthly players

Then there should have been research done and checked into the community to find
5 big spenders who quit and find out what broke them
5 random people who quit at emerald and find out what broke them
5 random people who quit at gold and find out what broke them
5 random people who quit from the forum and find out what broke them

Really 50 people is but a shell of the people that needs to be added to a PAC list. When you have a DAU of 2.6 Million people, 50 people is a speck.

I gave my opinion...If Zynga cared about the game....
1) There would be 3 surveys in the game
a) easy survey for 10 RP points where you take a simple 20 question test
b) medium survey for 25 RP that has 50 questions and 100 word comment boxes.
c) complex survey that has 100+ questions and 500 word comment boxes.

You figure that at minimum your talking 1000 dollars for food, lodging, plane tickets to and from, plus having staff on hand to go over the details. You are looking at a minimum of 50,000 dollars. You could have gotten more information and used that 50,000 dollars to have been broken down by a survey analysis team and that would have given you a mountain of data points to cross reference.

I never claimed to be the smartest person. I would imagine someone else at Zynga also came up with an idea like this. That is why I say there could be alternative reasons to why people are being picked. Big business never does anything without reason.

Good point of views, Here2Trade!

It makes sense that they will choose from new players to experienced players and all levels in between. Any aspects of the game. All representative from blogger (I know that Jennifer from MWLootLady blog is the one), from TopMafia.Info admin - Da Boss (go go go!), from Trading sites, etc etc..

Within this post, I want to congratulate those who have been picked and will be attending PAC soon. Please speak from your heart! We have released lots of complaints via forum, this blog, fan pages... perhaps using this PAC there will be a new way to conclude all in one place. Face to face!

Error On Accepting Gifts

Leonard has posted about this, today there are some errors on sending or asking for Gifts on Mafia Wars game.

Avishek got the same problem, here is when he wanted to accept his Gifts via Message Center..

He got the error message and then the gift is disappear, so he's losing his gifts!

No way to finish the Ancient Relic event then..

Sometimes you will also see this message when you want to click on any feeds regarding of Mafia Wars game :

Avishek has contacted Zynga Customer Support and he got a nice compensation.

"As a gift from me to you, I have gone ahead and credited you with 30 Reward Points to purchase mastery for this event."

Well, no one will going to spend their Reward Points to buy the mastery item for this event!

We still have time tho!

Accepting gift Broke again!!!

Many of the players are unable to accept gift at all as the accept of gift broke again :( (that include me)

Zynga Makes Changes To Fight Jobs

I haven't noticed a post on this, but I recently noticed that in Las Vegas and Italy Fight Jobs, even if you lose the fight you are still awarded all experience. Before, when we lost, we would be awarded ZERO xp.

I never choose to do Fight Path, only when the game forces me to. So I don't know about the changes. Appreciate your info, David.

Ok, I have tried it by myself and choose to do Fight Path jobs.

This is the example in Italy. I lost the Fight and still awarded with XP!


And this is in Las Vegas city... again I lost the Fight and still get the XP!


I like this changes..

We have used our Stamina and it costed lots of Stamina to do Fight jobs in advance level!

So if we earn the XP, it's supposed to be like that, don't you think?

Ancient Relics Event (Aztec Knife)

The second gift from The Ancient Relic Event is unlock now!

Just a reminder, we will be able to replay this event and get 3 of mastery items once you have finish and have a gold mastery of all 3 gifts.

Players will have the opportunity to repeat the event after achieving gold mastery for all three items. This will completely reset all counters and start the Ancient Relics from the beginning to earn duplicate mastery items. This event can be repeated 2 additional times to earn a maximum of 3 mastery reward items.

So don't waste your old gifts of the previous Mayan Calendar. Save it to repeat the event.

Redeem Your Broken Heart

Eh, this event is back?
I can see it again on my Home page tab.

If you check on Zynga Customer Page about this event, there is an update there :

So they bring it back only for redemption purpose!

You have 3 days to claim your rewards. But I only have 22 of Broken Hearts left...

"Broken Hearts can still be accepted!"

How to get more Broken Hearts then?

There is no more on Free Gift page, no Broken Heart on the Marketplace, they don't drop anymore from doing jobs, fights and robbing.

Perhaps you can still redeem Broken Hearts from your FaceBook Request page? I don't know because I have no more Broken Heart gifts...

Then I see this at the corner of the screenshot above :

You still can buy Broken Heart using Reward Points then.. and also from the old gifts on FaceBook Request page. Good luck for you to get more Broken Hearts so you can claim more rewards.

They also point out about this :

"A small number of accounts with Broken Hearts (or redeemed items) that exceeded the free limits will have the quantities corrected"

I have posted about this Broken Heart Glitch? where one player can have 317x Cardiac Arrest Weapons!

They will correct the quantities of the weapons on this account (who knows?).

Be prepared if you encountered this glitch..

Mafia Wars - Level 25,000

Hello guys, how are you?

Hope you're doing great and still play Mafia Wars game..

Rizzy has been playing Mafia Wars for such a long time.
He reached level 25,000 and asked me if this is maximum level for Mafia Wars game?

Please check his Mafia Wars Profile below..

On the screenshot above showing us that he needs NEGATIVE experience to reach further level. Nope this is not because the result of he's doing job and got levelling up. We have discussed about this matter before.

But somehow it is true, he has reached level 25,000 and no matter what he does on this game (doing jobs, fight and get the XP), it's still showing negative amount of XP.

This is when he did one job, the Energy amount is decreasing, he supposed to level up to level 25,001 but he couldn't!

So I assume that the highest level for Mafia Wars game now is level 25,000 (unless if you can tell me that someone has higher level!)
