Leonard has posted about this, today there are some errors on sending or asking for Gifts on Mafia Wars game.
Check his post here, please.Avishek got the same problem, here is when he wanted to accept his Gifts via Message Center..
He got the error message and then the gift is disappear, so he's losing his gifts!
No way to finish the Ancient Relic event then..
Sometimes you will also see this message when you want to click on any feeds regarding of Mafia Wars game :
Avishek has contacted Zynga Customer Support and he got a nice compensation.
"As a gift from me to you, I have gone ahead and credited you with 30 Reward Points to purchase mastery for this event."
Well, no one will going to spend their Reward Points to buy the mastery item for this event!
We still have time tho!
If you're having the same problem on accepting gifts, it may be a good time to contact Zynga Customer Support.
Provide with screenshots showing that you have problem with accepting gifts. Good luck!

cannot post screenshots because the error msg goes away with gift after 2 secs
