Family Progression Levels

The {ASS} Family reached Level 9 of Family Progression and we were able to provide Eike of Team Spockholm with some additional information on the experience needed to reach Level 10.

We are not the first family to reach this level. The ІИFІNITΣ and Mafia Wars Gods reached Level 9 a while ago. Kanu sent me an image of the Mafia Wars Gods Family Progression a few days ago.

I was able to run the Family Mission Spocklet shortly after the level up and sent Eike the data.

The Perk for reaching Level 9 is the Ambitious III. Energy is restored 15% faster and an additional Energy Pack is added to the storage queue.

Fearless and Mogul classes regenerate energy at a rate of 2 energy points every 4.5 minutes and Maniacs at a rate of 2 every 2.5 minutes. My character is Fearless and you can see my regeneration timer is now at 3:48 which is 15% less than 4.5 minutes. The Ambitious I and Ambitious II perk also reduced the energy regeneration timer by 5% and 10% but the reductions are not added together.

The extra Energy Pack that you can store is not hard to verify. It's there. So far all the perks have done what they promise.

If everything goes perfect we can expect to reach Level 10 in 93.75 days from now which won't be until the middle of February. Zynga told us they are going to add more levels this week so we could be looking at another year before ever completing Family Progression.

Looks like my estimations did not match. We will update the page once any family reaches level 10!

In the current implementation of the Family Progress Module, Zynga just gives us the percentages, but not the absolute numbers of experience we need to level.

We worked hard to figure out the numbers behind the Family Progression Module. Now we have some more information, some are trusted, some estimated.
The XP needed for the current level can be extracted from the game. We got it for level 1-4, since no family yet reached level 5.
This is the XP for each of the tasks, of course each of them must be completed to get to the next level.

Update: This is the complete table now. Wo don't know yet what comes once any family reaches level 10.

Now if we assume every of the 101 members does their 600 family xp per day (for each task!), it would take 4 days to go from level 5 to 6. If you add the number days for each level, you will have this:

The Ass-Family took 96 days to get to level 9, while the minimum time would be 79 days, I would say they did a great job. I've heard that some families are already working on level 10, thats awesome.

What I definately consider unfair is the fact that the XP needed is regardless of family size. So a family with only 10 members would take 10x longer then a full family. My wish would be that this was somehow adjusted.
