Sneak Peek: The Spockholm Golden Toolbar

For sometime now, Pistol Pete has been discussing the Spockholm Golden Toolbar on the Informant Podcast. It will be ready to go soon and here is a sneak peek. The first thing you will notice is the brilliant gold color.

If you donate to Team Spockholm you will be provided with a password to gain access to the Golden Toolbar.

All of the Spocklets will appear in the config and you can add or remove them to suit your needs simply by clicking or un-clicking them. Another benefit of the Golden Toolbar is scripts in the beta testing phase will appear so you will be one of the first to use them.

You can move them around on the drop down menu so the Spocklets you use more frequently are on the top. This feature as well as all the Spocklets out of beta testing will also be available on the normal Spockhom Toolbar.

The main benefit to the Spockholm Golden Toolbar is it remembers you settings and you can load it up on any computer. If your settings get cleared out for any reason, the Golden Toolbar remembers and you can easily get them back. If you go to a computer that doesn't have your Spockholm Toolbar set up or if you lose your settings, simply check the "Enable server syncing" box.

The server syncing options will appear. You can save your settings and never worry about them disappearing again.

The only features on the Golden Toolbar that won't be available on the regular toolbar are the gold color, the back up storage capacity and the beta Spocklets. Team Spockholm would need more storage capacity to save all player settings on their servers. This is why the Golden Toolbar will only be available to those who donate to Team Spockholm. Donations are mostly used to maintain the servers (maybe an occasional beer or two) and all are put to good use.
