It seems like they are cracking down on people that use Bookmarklets, so your account can be suspended for sending to many gifts per day via Chucker, or by using Brawler or AttackX.

I hope they do crack down on users who use bookmarklets. As a player who doesnt use them I am sick of being trumped by those who do. Fighting in Vegas has become too difficult due to the large number of players who use bookmarklets - they use scripts to identify fighters who arent iced and can do many many more fights.
They should integrate some kind of automated fighting system really. The "Power Attack Feature" though useful, is nothing compared to automated fighters... And even with * 5 (only SOME of the time) making 1000 fight still takes 200 clicks... reaching 100k would mean 200000 clicks, EXCLUDING the "refresh of the list" that you continually have to do...

Fighting has become harder because Zynga has made the best items drop from fights only and have removed gifting of anything worth while. Bookmarklets do not give you an advantage over your opponents. They do make tasks simpler and thus making the game more worth while. How do they expect people to keep investing time and money if they dont provide a fair and fast way to burn up your invested skill points. A bookmarklet didnt cause some one to beat you, how they invested there skill points did. It just allows them to move on past you quicker. Zynga should encourage this avenue of there fanbase by opening up an api that players can write scripts using. It would allow them to improve the game by incorporating popular tools into the game. This approach is one of the best features of everyones favorite browser, Firefox. ;)
maybe they are tracking down people who have more than 1000 staminas plus using cross promo stamina refill from treasule isle and poker. i think im gonna change my delay of attack to 2-4 sec interval. lol

O whatever it scans though 20 iced people before finding a live one most my fight pages come up an dead people an if it does show them live i click an there dead wasted stam Im sorry im not click refresheing pages for hours to waste my 1900 stam pool on my lower lvl i have 175stam an it still takes time to click through
what they should do is each person has there own list an has to finish the list win or loose to get a new one but i know that would be too much to ask of zynga this game isnt complicated not even 3d frickin 1d at lrast develop some nice video intros which i spip by anyways on all games but hey at least the effort was there

More False Script Rumors
I had a feeling when I was writing the article titled Account Restrictions? that the infamous message seen on some accounts was going to cause some panic and false rumors. If you are afraid to use The Chucker or other scripts because of this, you shouldn't be.
John Sweeney Jr. provided me with Zynga's OFFICIAL Statement about Bookmarklets.
"Anything that is not YOU playing the Game, is against our Terms of Service. We do not allow bots or Scripts to be used."
This is nothing new and should not be a surprise. As far as scripts are concerned, there is nothing new that Zynga is doing to try to stop them. If you are using those that mimic normal game play and are not violating the integrity of the game, you have nothing to worry about. I asked Arch-Angel Nemesis to comment on this
"Zynga is cracking down on big trading accounts and people who sell a lot of loot. To stop the traders and sellers Zynga turned off gifting of the top Vegas loot items. Bangkok Unlock, all the sellers and traders, really made them upset. After they changed everything in the game, these accounts were suspended.
They also suspended the fighting on these accounts, so they wouldn't get the new fighting loot as well.
That's all this is about, stopping trading and selling, so going forward, nothing but consumables will be giftable. They are not going to suspend any more accounts, it was a one time roll out suspension. If Zynga really cared about people using third party scripts, they would figure out how to make the scripts not work or they would sue or BAN everyone who uses them. my account as seen fighting loot drops going down to 2.8% drop rate...sucky. vegas doesnt let you do repeat job...more fixes like this will probably come. Zynga probably wants people to play the game longer so they dont need to update it as often.
I feel a bit of happy right now :D I mean...if they forbid use of bookmarklets they'll give me one really good reason to stop playing MW cause there is no other way for me to say "enough" :D Don't get me wrong...i love this game but lately Zynga is doing everything wrong and people are quitting more and more everyday...they've change the % of Wheelman and Mastermind...they've changed the exp ratios of the best jobs...they've made the vegas loot non-giftable and now they want to stop users to use bookmarklets?!?! Bookmarklet is cheating, plain and simple. The Terms of Use confirm it so there is no argument there.
Any game is better if no cheats are involved, so I don't see what people are complaining about when Zynga tries to clean up.
this is why we block the cookies from iesnare.com and iovation.com =) .. and when using firefox.. always "start private browsing" -- i never get the cookies, and have never gotten this message and don't see it happening

I Think They're Right. They Should Be Right. If That Isn't True, How People Should Burn Their Stamina?! As Anonymous Said, It Is Just For Preventing Greedy People From Selling & Making Money. This Game Is Really Fun As Far As You Don't Need To Pay Lots Of Cash. To Be Honest, I Have +1500 Stamina Myself. I Level Up 4-5 Times A Day. Which Means 6000-7500 Stamina. Do They Want Me To Click 6000-7500 Times Or Just 6000/5=1200 --- 7500/5=1500 Clicks With Power Attack?!!!!!
I have to agree with the last poster; I've been playing hardcore since before NY was completed so I've seen Zynga "evolve" (partly with my money). Now as much as I've enjoyed the game I'm just waiting for the next big "&$^@ you!" to walk away care free. This isn't it but it's close, especially if they were disabling my account.
As for the first poster, sorry but you don't know what you're talking about. The scripts don't do anything different than what you can do yourself. It's just preserving the life of our mice and our sanity. Here's a tip: the names that are greyed-out on the fight list are iced. There, now you can identify iced targets too!! :)
By the way, it's not bookmarklets that are constantly leaving you dead in Mafia Wars. That is happening because Zynga changed the game dynamics for fighters, now if you don't attack live targets you don't get any loot, etc. Blame Zynga, not bookmarklets.

I didn't give a damn about the energy/exp nerf, but if they stop non-manual playing users... I'll probably quit too. Cuz my stamina is twice my energy: 5000/2500 approx. 5000 fights manually? then level up and 5000 again and again ??? No, thanks :)

It seems that all those who uise Bookmarklets want to convince themselves that they are doing nothing wrong. Here is a fact - it is against the playing TORs!!! It is that way for a reason - to give everyone the same chance of playing. Just because you have 1500 stamina doesnt mean that it is one rule for you and one rule for me. If you get caught and you leave MW - good. Means I will probably enjoy my game a bit better.

Hmmm...I'll say it for the last time and I'll stop to discus it...Bookmarklets are NOT cheat!!! Why can't you understand it? It's equal if I click myself 500 times on "attack" button and if some script do it instead of me. This script doesn't rise my stats...my energy, stamina, attack, defence, reward points and all the items are still the same...I'm not getting stronger in anyway. I guess people who are against bookmarklets just don't have enough stamina, energy or items and are not serious players like us ;P...If you have 200 stamina it is ok to click it manual but how will you spend 5000?!?! How will you send 500 Gifts especially now with that bug when sending gifts. These kind of people will need about 6 hours only to spend their stamina or send all the gifts they want. The same thing is with Chucker...It's equal if I'll send 500 gifts manual or automatic...that doesn't change the quality of the items or their count. I can continue with examples for bookmarklets but I think that's enough. Zynga and the other people who are against bookmarklets just have to understand that these scripts don't make us more powerful...they are just repeating our decisions and helping us so we can play all day and do different things...If I have to spend a whole one day just to attack people then just forget it :) If we use script which is rising our stats or giving us free reward points and stuff like these then this is cheating! course you are, you take the game too seriously, you're obviously drowning in legitislative jargon and you're IMO jealous, how about they made sure u cud only spend 1 energy at a time... I mean they aren;t exactly pleasing your energy players atm, so why have a dig at something before you've even tried it, I mean going through 1000 stamina in fights.
I suggest you try something before you knock it... also you're telling me, in order to be able to pay, i'm going to have to sacrifice an extra 3-4 hrs a day, just so you can sit there, with your sadistic smile shinning over me like a perverted star... no thank you and gOOd night!
It is cheating, but I still use bookmarklets because like everyone says it takes to long to fight that many fights..... But I only use the bookmarklets for fighting everything else I do is by me. I actually just open a second window while the fight bookmarklet is going, cutting down my time in half!
I'm a relative noob... I've got 6000 energy/ 600 stamina. I do some fights manually, but I usually go bookmarklets after a few. I mean, good god, 600 clicks! That's bad for my mouse and my wrist! :D
On the other hand, I can spam through 6000 energy in Bangkok in about... 30 seconds. Or less.
Without bookmarklets, the game just becomes too geared to energy accounts. Then again, Zynga is also ENCOURAGING the use of bookmarklets when they make all the good fight loot and stuff. Manual clickers (I respect their energy and dedication) can't stand up to people with bookmarklets. I tried clicking through 600 stamina-- I gave up after a couple hundred. It SUCKED. I can only imagine how bad it is for people with several thousands of stamina.
IMO, Zynga is on one hand discouraging fighting by making it so hard to do, while trying to make us continue with it by dangling pretty loot in front of us. I suppose the Tournaments can help burn off stamina a little faster, but we're still talking a drop in the bucket-- what's 100 stamina to a lvl 2000 or so? Peanuts.
