The Dead Or Alive Achievement
We got this achievement by gaining Allied status (the highest reputation) with the Yakuza Faction. I'm sure there is also the same with Triad Faction, right?
Ok, I just got this from seeing one of my best mafia profile..
So, we have 4 new achievements in Bangkok now..
- Dead Or Alive
- Hard Boiled
- Bangkok Dangerous
- One Night In Bangkok
I'll post the new screenshot if he or somebody else has gained the One Night In Bangkok achievement.. See you soon!

NO NO NO - i had 52 out of 54 achievements - just as i think i will get all of them
oh well those 3 for side mastery are all easy i can do that on fighting alone but i dont even know what one night in bangkok is on about
can anyone help me out with getting it please?
what is 5a and 5b once i know i will stand at least some chance of geting it to go with the rest of my achievements so i can get back to just having 10 and 999 trillion to get
how do you get both allied at the same time?
I don't understand why they are giving an achievement for gaining allied status with both at the same time. First they say pick a faction, now they want you to be allied on both to get the achievement so really you are required to fight more of your own faction's mafia to counteract the points you gain doing the jobs. Sounds crazy to me - seems like a way for Zynga to try and slow down game play with having to pay attention to which faction you are fighting.
I would appreciate if there were an article posted providing Mafia Wars Players with the best strategy to use in order to Ally ourselves with BOTH the Yakuza and Triad factions.
