Mafia Wars has several updates on the game now.. and on this post I'd like to discuss about "Gift Safe House" feature.First we need to do the special Limited Time Job - Bring the Family Together
Step1. After that you'll be able to unlocked the Gift Safe House.
Or just go to your game on visit "My Mafia" page and choose "Gift Safe House" like this one :
There is one gift for you available there.. you can just open it or collect until 10 gifts to receive 1 mastery items! I can not stand it so just open 1, here is what I got :

Naaah, now when you have 10 gifts sent by your mafia families, you'll receive this :
This is the mastery items by receiving 10 gifts!

What were the other 9 gifts that you opened? All are crate items? Or you haven't opened them yet?
bit confused here..i have received quite a few gifts i think 30 plus but it says gift received 2/10? whats does it mean? for every 10 gifts its what considered as 1 / 10? and the other one..where u can have a bonus expi/energy/stamina too..whats that?
the bonuse exp is when u gift to someone else you only have 3 gift received in the mastery section because in your gift safe house you only have 3 to see the gift boxes you have go to your profile not my mafia then click the link saying gift safe house at the top hope that helped

I got around 4 gifts from my mafia but it says 2/10 gifts received?? Do I need to check the safe house from my profile or what?
me too i have 14 gifts and i already collected my award for 10 and going for another 10 but it says i only got 1....i should have 4 not 1 because i got 14 gifts not 11 so now i can't get the 10th award....i hope the 2nd award is the same as the second then i will feel alot better

hmmm i'd love to have Liger, so far i scored dragunov, roman mace, floyd's 45 and kamas. they've already fixed the glitch allowing u to open them for free :((( have to wait :> getting impatient :D Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays
I have had Gravity Gun, Garza 12 Shotgun, Dragunov, Tommy Gun Ornament, Galea, Economy Pack of socks, Bobble head and a low rider so far. I know that you can get a Liger, which I really want as it was the only Tigers Unleashed item I missed out on!!
I receive gifts but i can't get the presents..
I have opened 5 presents...i have received lot's of gifts from then but it stuck to 5/10...

how do you open your gifts? I only could open the first one when I got to the safe house? when someone sends me a christmas gift (mistletoe launcher, black roses, ice skates, etc) it does not change the (1/10) number in the gift safe house....i have received about 50 of those gifts but still only one box is available....what am I doing wrong here? please help? everybody is getting to open presents except for me, I have nothing but what zynga gave me for my first present....
dude u must go to teh safe house and ask a request from there and teh people reply to it and u gt a gift
I've got nothing but the 1st gift in the safe house.People have sent me gifts,but they did not register in safe house.I wish it was more than just a bunch of hacks running Zynga/Mafia Wars.I bet there's NO glitches collecting cash.
Same here....1st gift only. If I send out requests I get nothing. Friends say it tells them "you don't have requests from this person". This SUCKS! Great way to get cool items and I'll miss out on it!! Zynga you SUCK!!!!
My mom is having this problem where she can't send out requests for gifts. if she sends them, it says "you don't have any requests from this person" when someone clicks the links! She's an AVID player and can't get anything!!! She's actually really bummed that she's missing out. Is there a way that I can use a link and just type in her ID so that at least I can send her something? I'm really upset with this not working, too! I had a ton of problems at first, and a few people have told me it won't let them click on my link, either.
Do you know if color of the gift says what kind of item is it?

Thats exactly what has happenedto me.....I cannnot recieve gifts. I have the same issue as the comment made Dec 28th at 5;39 pm.
Same thing is happening to me........not fixed.
i have 34 gifts to open and it it wants 2 gf points for each one or it says to wait 25 days and 14 hours....that takes us into february 2010..whats up
The Gift Safe House is back! As of 1/12/10, The little gift garage is back with 10 slots. (The only problem is, when I click on "request gifts," only a blank message box pops up. I think Zynga posted yet another glitchy "bonus.")
