Well, another special jobs available now!
You can see it on your Home page on the game.. Here they are :
Click on the "Do Job", voila! We get 3 kind of jobs which has different requirements and gives different payout :
First, I chose first job..
Steal a Shipment of Champagne
I click on the job and got this message :
Spent 30 energy, gained 45 XP and have to wait for 5 minutes to get more XP plus special bonus
It is repeated every 5 minutes.. and my bonus is ready now..
Now we know where the Champagne Bottles come from! I have collected it and still don't get it from my boost page... I wonder where they are...
But I wait for about 10 minutes and got them on my BOOST page.
Champagne Bottle: Boost (+25 attack skill)
You can publish the job on your wall like this :
And if your mafia click on "Score big" they will have free 2 Reward points!
Crash the Mayor's NYE Party
I tried to do job no 2.. apparently we can choose another job after I have chosen the first one.
Too bad, I have to wait for 4 hours to see the result.
And this one job no. 3
Steal the NYE Manhattan Ball
And this one job no. 3

Same with job no 2, I have to wait for 8 hours for this job. But we know what we got from this job, right?

Thank you for posting this early. I was wondering if you can switch jobs and you answered my question. BTW.. What is the Champagne bottle? Is it a weapon? boost? I don't seem to see it in my inventory although I did the job.
how does it works??? i clicked for job 2 but i hav nothin instead...
different kind of job gets different payout, so I think the mastery item differs too.
Item for job 2 will be Balloon Party,
for job 3 will be Manhattan Ball
(see Mafia Wars : Some UnReleased Items)
Are these +25 skills permanent or just a boost?
25 attack = 5 X level up (5 skill points each time), and depending on your level, is it worth it?
1% job mastery = 100X 30 energy = 3000 energy!
champagne bottles are temporary attack boosts (like coffee/blowfish darts), they are not permanent

sorry for the scare but they do work .. i checked mafia wars fan page and it doesnt show any offer like that so i thought it was fake but when i checked in my other account it worked !
already bought haitan drum , veteran dog tags , wildfire gt trio because of these free 5 GF and the other 10 free Gf .. theres another 10 free GF when you collect your boost and post it . !

How did you get all three items so fast? Corkscrew, Balloons and Ball Drop?
You can get all those very fast and gain 100 %
Open 5 times your MW page before you wanna Do job on each page press Do job
Of course you need to have lots of energy
did you can get more than 1 chez for each loot?
ok first things first Mafia Wars Maniac your page rocks!Ive picked the 3rd job just to finish this thing pronto plus the fact of 100% rare item ^.^ the first job was a blow due to the fact u get Champagne Bottles and other boosts that u waste fast by fights.I still got another 5 through 6 hours to collect my bonus -.-
its really crazy first job cause all u get is 1% every 5 minutes while i master my job in 3 days but since i heard u switch jobs will just switch upon 2 and 3rd options
I am wondering if you get anything additional once you have "mastered" one of these 2009 jobs...Does anyone know yet? I'm still on 30% mastery - Thanks
there was a glitch they just fixed with this job event (a link you put in your adress bar that reset the job), that allowed to do over and over again the last score of 2009 jobs...as a maniac i did the 3rd one repeatedly until i almost gained 150 levels :) i have 469 manhattan balldrop but only gained the corkscrew once...and thanks to all the gf points, i bought 10 items on sale and even got the limited edition item lol, which is a cherry picker.
well that was fun, hopefully for me they fixed this, i would have continued the leveling up endlessly ^^

A friend of mine got Party Balloons - vehicles that are only 12/18 - no idea where he got them from. Any ideas?
