i didn't expected that the reward item is as bad as this because it's too hard to get 20 purchases
I feel the cheapest possible way to get this item is to attack, and use GF points to heal or refill stamina.

Even buying the cheapest item (hourly 7 GF point item), you spend an obvious total of 140 points for the elephant gun. Just in case you don't always relate GF points to money, that's about $30.
My advice: If the stats aren't better than random loot drops that already exist in the game for free, then don't buy them. It's a complete waste of $30 to have you attack or defense stats raised a couple hundred points, it that.
Spend the $30 and another $30 and get Modern Warfare 2, and use Mafia Wars autoplayer to get all the items you want while you play MW2!

Considering I'm still not convinced that loot really is that important in a fight until you are very very high in level, and even then, personal attack/defense skill still weighs heavier.

The gun seriously sucks. It's limited all right, but what is mafiawars trying to prove? Buy stuff for cheap but in total you spend more than you should when you could be using those reward points to refill energy or even buy better items in the future ! The elephant gun appeals to me, to be honest, but think for once, it's more redundant than useful, people buy it to prove that they're rich in GF Points. That's it ? For show off ? Omfg MW Gotta do better.

bought a few russian bears when they were offered as the hourly special. but no need to buy 20 items to get that stupid gun. ;-)
hey the car that 5 rp's. it sucks ilooted a kraken and it gives 24 attack,and 41 defense.
and the cargo ship that you get from the special job find the captians stash, it gives 15 attack that sucks but it gives 46 defense. i looted those both and for attack i bought a pearl handeled revolver for 7 rp's it give 40 attack and 10 deffense i use it for offense and for armor the utility belt also for free for downloading the mafia wars toolbar which is also free. it give 30 attack and 30 deffense. and my vehicle is the kraken. thats my offens my defense is the cooked goose whick gives 15 attack and 27 deffense my armore again the utility belt it says you got one but you get 2, then my vehicle is the cargo ship. thats my getup. so deal with it.

well,relax guys.I have the feeling that Zynga will do some changes about the elephant gun either at the outlook or stats.Maybe the black Friday event is just too rushy for them to set up until they didn't notice it.Else it will surely be a nonsense event they had done coz that special item stat is not even surpass the moscow job loot!
It's calling a Black Friday, of course you are expecting the best weapon out of the worst day. I'm only getting Kodiak and White Russian Bear, and hopefully to wait for the last hour offer. I think it's really a black Friday, those weapons are not worth for higher level.
