I have heard multiple rumors where people have suggested that if you comment on someone's job help via the in-game comment box (as pictured in this screenshot) then that is what gives the other person extra skill points.
This is definitely ONLY a rumor. I personally don't like allowing Mafia Wars to publish whatever it feels like to my personal wall (like who I'm attacking, etc).

ya its true i guess,,because i received 3 comments through it and got 3 skill points,,,this has beesn happening for past 3-4 days.... i couldnot understand how but liked it :) - siddharth nayak
It is definitely only a rumor, NOT TRUE! I just posted a Moscow job, got 7 responses and 7 skill points so far (you don't ALWAYS get a skill point when someone helps you though) and I have had 0 comments.
Not true about people leaving comments or liking. They just have to respond to your job help to get those skill points. I know because I posted a job help to defeat Boss Dmitri and received 10 SKILL POINTS! and no one left a comment on my post.

When you do a Moscow job for a friend, please put a comment in the box provided! It gives the sender of the job 1 skill point per comment, making a maxium of 10 skill points per job. Please tell your mafia so no one misses out, thank you! It MUST be from the MW results page.
Make sure you all post at least one Moscow job per day for as long as this is open, as skill points play a huge factor in determining the victor while fighting!
hey, i think it's fake, once you've already request for help, you receive skill point randomly :D. But i have some problems, i can't get mastery skill point since that, is there anyone having the same problem?

i got skill points if my friend helped my moscow job, it not necessary for them to comment or like anything.
The max skill points i recieved up to date is 7 ^^
my experience is that the amount of comments has no influence on the points you earn. I noticed that bug 10 days ago und got sometimes 5 points while nobody posted a comment...

This is not true. Sometimes I get extra skill points when my mafia helping me while no comment posted at all. Besides that, nowadays we didnt gain the bonus skill point when we mastering moscow job.
Its a Rumor I guess.... I used to ask job help at moscow. I still get the skill points even if someone is not posting a comment on it. Its actually a Glitch. I read it somewhere. I just don't remember where. But Its a glitch since the Big Apple week is Done.

I think it just happens at random, I get 5 extra skill points on my Moscow job every day since this started.
never had this glitch, tried it many times and many different ways. could be because I already finished moscow?
Here is how this works:
First off you do not get any benefit from having people Comment or Like your Moscow job.
A few weeks ago Zynga got rid of the getting 1 pt finishing a job in Moscow. It still works if you finish a job in Cuba or NY. But in Moscow the only want to get pts is by doing the Get Help.
This Rumor seems to ahve been started when some newbie finally reached Moscow and noticed he had points for doing the get help job. They clearly didnt track the progress of the job or keep an eye out for the notifications.
For every 2 people that help you, you get 1 pt of Skill. Up to 5. It has always been like this. I never have any comments and I always recieve my full 5. To prove this, simply post your get help. Stay on the Moscow screen and wait untill it shows 2 people have helped you, it will say X person and X person ahve helped you, then click the job tab and it will show that 2 people responded and you will have 1 pt. And it will continue like that until the max of 10 is reached.
Now usually once I hit my 10 people I am able to click home on mafia and refresh a few times, and it will show me the pics of the helpers and give my exp and money.
But I did notice that after I hit my 10 people and refreshed, I still didnt get my exp and money right away, I found out that this is because one of the 10 Responders rallied/asked for more help on my job.
Which when they do publishes as a gun saying this guy wants us to help his friend with his job.
That kept the job open past my 10 helpers, and I did notice a jump in exp pts and money and more then 10 pics of the people that helped.
It is always a consistent amount of exp pts and money if you do the same get help job daily, unless you are doing it on a different level (2 or 3).
So the rumor is FALSE, but make sure to ask people to Rally/Ask for more help when they do your job. That is what will give you a bonus, whether it gives you a bonus is still unclear. But as stated, I did recieve more then 5pts on one occasion because someone rallied more help for the job.
It seems that people just post the get help and go on with their day or their mafia, and dont notice the progression of their job by seeing the notifications of who helped or watching the responders off the job page.
People claim it gives them 1 pt for every person that comments, but as stated, you get the points for people doing the job regardless. So obviously if they commented, that means they also did the job. The point is, if they did the job and didnt comment, you would have the same result.
By my calculations all Zynga have done is moved when you get the skill points.
Each Moscow level you complete = 1 skill point banked
When you ask for assistance you get the skill points accrued up to a maximum of 10
I have checked this on two accounts for the last few days and the numbers back this up
(as with the poster above I agree the comments/like thing is a myth that is spreading like wildfire)
In addition to the above post:
i have also noticed that if you do the get help job on ep 1 as opposed to doing the job help on ep4 or 5, the skill points given are different.
The experience pts and money is clearly different because the get help in episode 4 is harder then in episode 1.
But I did notice that I once recieved 10 pts for doing the get help job in episode 1 and only 5 points for doing the get help in episode 4. Again this has nothing to do with people commenting or anything.
It appears that in order to help people progress through the game and get ready for Bangkok, they are trying to give people added bonuses and such to make the game easier for them.
I have done this on my Harvesting/Farming character where I have completed Moscow and just collect weapons for my main character.
So I have tested the theory by 1 day doing my get help in Ep 1 and one day doing my get help in Ep 2. The amount of skill pts were different. And both people did not get any comments.
The helpers I got for the job where 4 of my own characters, 4 of a friends character, and 2 other friends. All were instructed not to comment nor to rally for more help on the job.
And sure enough, not only did i get pts regardless taht nobody commented, which proves taht rumor is false. But that indeed you get more pts for doing the get help job in Ep 1 then you do in Ep 4.
For people without farming characters, clearly why would they do the get help in Ep 1, when they ahve completed it, so they do and repeat the get help job on the Tier they are currently working on.
Now on my other 2 characters. I did the get help job on both of them and on Ep 4. But on one I had people rally more help, and on the other I told them not to. The one that didnt recieve help, got their 10 people and after refreshing the page I was immediately given the exp pts and money.
On the other taht did rally, after i got my 10 people the job remained opened and closed later on taht day.
There was indeed a difference in exp pts and bonus money give to me. So they both did the same job, 1 with no help other then 10 and the other with 10 people helping but also of those 10 they all rallied for more help and got their mafia to also assist.
Conclusion:
1.Commenting does absolutely nothing.
2.having friends Rally more help, and their friends actually click the post will help you.
3. Based on the episdoe you do the get help job on, will vary the amount of pts you recieve from the 10 helpers, the rallying of friends will affect the amount of money and exp pts you get.
4. If you are a farming character for a main character, when you do your daily get help job, do it on Episode 1. If you only have a Main Character, do the Episode your are working on untill completed, and then do the get help in Ep 1 untill you reach the next episode and need to do the get help on the next Tier/Episode you will start working on.
These are not quite right. I tried the comment approach, and got 7 skill points once and 4 another time. I BELIEVE I have had 11 respondents and gotten only 4 skill points.
Can we set up some real experiments?
I haven't noticed any skill point increase, but what i have noticed is a comment at the top of the screen saying "bla bla responded to your request to Gun Down Some Russian Muscle. You gained 10% mastery on that job."
I checked the job and it shows 1 responded next to it. But it hasn't increased the mastery. I have a screen shot with the same job and 2 responded next to it, yet the mastery is sitting on 18%.
This is affecting all my moscow jobs now. Requesting help on moscow jobs is giving me a slight XP increase and some cash, but it isn't increasing the mastery on any of them. It's taking a very long time to complete the jobs now. I've logged a support request with Zynga, but no resolution in over a week.
Every day im getting around 18-22 skill points max and its true if u know how the tricks works ,its been 1 week since i notice this one 7 x 21 point = heheheh

I don't even get how some people can believe that clickins on the "I like" link on a comment on Facebook may affect a game on Zynga...

I noticed firstly a few weeks ago and logged the job with Zynga that in Moscow I suddenly stopped getting a skill point when the job was mastered. Soon after this I noticed that after I posted a "get help" (successfully i.e. the thing actually posted) that if I went over to my profile and began allocating points I had sitting there, that each time the screen refreshed the point was allocated but the same number of points were waiting to be allocated, until all 10 people had responded to the job.
My mafia are like lightning (when jobs post that is!) if they respond a little slower then I get quite a few points.. if 3 respond at once maybe only 1 point from those 3.
Comments and like/dislike... that is not the issue. Its when the screen updates and refreshes that someone did your job.
For me there are no skill points awarded at job mastery on any job I do in moscow except the "get help"... so I dont know whether I am up or down on points really...

I did not get skill points in mastering Moscow. I am at Pakhan tier now. After working Moscow in about seven days now, I don't get any skill points way back from episode 1!
tried and tested by me...at first i thought also it was wrong. i thought i was getting skill points for posting after mastery and getting 1 skill pt for each response.
Tried it again tonight and did not ask for comments or likes and got 10 responses with 4 comments and 4 skill pts.
I have had all 10 skill pts with 10 comments. without the comments on the profile the skill pts have been random. I don't think it's a glitch, I think it is a planned part of the game since we are not getting skill pts for completing a job, but who am I to say? Just mastered episode 5. Have tested this theory for a week.
Something new everyday, but this seems to be Official.. The way to earn skill points on a Moscow job isn't the "like" or leaving a comment. The secret is that the person helping must be "in" Moscow at the time of the help. When you leave MW to check the feed make sure that you are in Moscow. That way th......e person y......ou are helping will... benefit with a skill point... THIS INFO COMES FROM ZYNGA
OK...I have done all of the above...all of my skill points are still random!! Been at it for the whole time...tried every different way and still random points. Maybe the poster that said to wait in Moscow while the job is being done is on to something.....
at first i was getting skill points without a comment......but now they fixed it.......i wish they didn't
