I know that some of you hate this feature of robbing.. we don't want bad guys to rob our properties, right??
We can not do nothing about it when stronger mafias bring their mob and rob us! Putting police line there.. and we need to repair and add more protection... Geezzz!!!

Yeah, I'm curious as to what they will do with robbing and rackets (Rackets are the only things I know.). I understand though that if you log out in another area, you can't get robbed? or maybe only that city gets robbed? ...I don't know. I wasn't around when robbing was around the first time.
But if it becomes a problem, racket users can just switch our influence to produce 3 of those +60 robbing defense boosts every 4 hours per racket slot (max of 60 per 4h) and hide behind these. o-o... and I'll do it too, if I need to...

Robbing sucked in my opinion. I've been on Mafia Wars for almost a year now and I hated it and haven't missed it one bit.
It forces you to pretty much bank your $$$ in NYC so that a person who robs the hell out of you doesn't go kicking the $hit out of you too and taking all your $$$.
Some of us don't have the time to sit around and click on fighting all day long, so we've invested in energy vice anything else.
Now those who have invested in Attack and Defense will rule the roost again, especially those players who have stamina based accounts that gained endless levels using AttackX sucking some poor person's account who doesn't use it anymore.
Those stamina based accounts usually get Attack/Defense 2 for every 5 skill points earned. 3 skills pts into stamina, 2 into atk/def.
They identify accounts of people who don't use them anymore and put AttackX on them. With more than 7,000+ stamina in some cases these people are easily past lvl 1,000 and some are lvl 10,000+. Even at the lower ratio, their Atk/Def is out of control.
Those accounts LIVE ... yes LIVE for the return of robbing.
They won't simply rob the people who come up in the fight listing, they plan on (and will) keep a running list of those people out there who have HUGE investments in properties and who DON'T have $hit for Atk/Def ... i.e. energy accounts.
It really makes it a PAIN in the a$$ to have to go to NYC all the time and repair your properties and bank your $$$ so it WON'T GET ROBBED by these people.
For energy accounts it will make more sense to sell ALL of their properties and bank all of the money. If energy accounts want to continue toward the infamous trillion $$$ achievements, it would make more sense to do "Make Arrangements for a Visiting Don" (A.K.A MAVD), over and over and over again.

Only thing I want to know is if it is going to allow me to become a TOP SAFECRACKER, robbing was how you increased this before then they took it away.
What's interesting is that the robbing feature will implement Adobe Flash. Which leads us to believe there may be some sort of interactive animation when robbing.

Robbing seems fun, if i only knew how to grow my mafia. I'm still at 17 in my maffia family.
Also about the rackets. Does nobody seem to have a glitch when you do the escort service with 75 influence, that once you collect the income, that all your earned influence drops to zero. I've lost 200 influence points already by doing this racket. Had a very great expansion for all rackets to run on and it just seems everytime you collect the money from that Escort service racket all influence points i didn't use drops to zero. Very very very annoying.

Listening to the energy idiots whine is amazingly funny. Mafia wars is a fighting game. It shouldn't favor fighter accounts or energy accounts. It should favor those who are balanced across the board and who are patient and slowly utilize energy and stamina to level. Total fighters and total energy accounts are ALL annoying. To the comment above "some don't have time to spend on stamina and use energy instead," you are the type of douchebag I'm talking about. Why shouldn't you be punished for taking a shortcut? Just as the total fighter has been punished in Russia and Bangkok for energy? It's a pretty simple game to figure out how to do well. If you are dumb enough to go all energy because of laziness, you deserve to be pounded into the ground. All these hitlisting noobs are going to be driven in the ground as well. I had a 126 hitlist me 42 times last night while in the hospital. THink maybe I saved him for robbing?
Just sell all the mega casinos and invest in mafia mikes instead.

i am a level 614 now and the amount of times i have stuck up for lower levels against bullies and then been beaten over the head with the hit list well i can now get them all back again at last
