Many of you sent me a message complaining about your problem on Gift Safe House. So far I have found 3 kind of Safe House "mode".
This is the first. I have it on my account. I can accept 10 gifts and can open all for free! After I open all, the slots become vacant again.
This one is the second mode. We have 1 free slot to open our gift without spending our Reward Points. If you open the first slot for free, the second box will take the position of box number 1 and become free again until you open last piece, and soon.. and soon. So basically you can open all gifts for free.
This is the third one. All gifts are not for free! You have to wait for the time to open all but the the problem is, there is no countdown timer! 
For Gift Safe House mode no 1 and no 2, it's not a problem at all! But for no 3, I think you should write an email to support team. Tell them your problem and submit a ticket, please. I'll try to find the info about how to resolve this too..

Ever since the Gift Safe House came back it tells me to pay 2 GF coins to open each gift.....what gives??? Since there is not a specific date to "open all at"...
there is definitely a bug on my safe house..my main account tells me to pay 2gf while my farm account has already opened its 10 gifts
I don't see anything at all!
I have read that everybody who collected 100 gifts over xmas has to pay 2 where as those who didn't can open for free. My main account says pay 2 RP but my other accounts who didn't get 100 gifts are free :(

When you spend 2 RP to open, it replaces the gift with another. So you have unlimited gifts (at 2 RP each).
Here is the list I have compiled of available items (I just updated this on MW Wiki).

I decided to open one of the boxes for 2 gf points and got a laser squirrel. Not bad, but I'll wait and see if I can open them for free.
its a bug!! you need to email zynga support. Nothing EVER goes smooth with Mafia Wars :-(

3rd issue for me but i think ts a good deal to open for 2 rp because those items are normally at 25 rp and up to 7 rp with discount so its really great that if u get those items at 2 rp never mind to open it.and also by that way u getting so many gifts ...i got about 23 till now n i spent 23*2= 46 RP ....not a bad deal////////
It sucks. I've got 3rd issue too! And out of gf points...
Why I have fcking 3rd mode? Think that is because of I opened all xmas gifts at december or I am higher level (159 now).. btw. there is no timer so I dont know if patience is good choice
but there is magic sign "open early", so... maybe when Bangkok will be available - time unknown too.

If everyone emails, then they can't ignore it any longer. I've already emailed, and the response I got was the generic "clear-cache, update Flash, restart comp" answer (didn't work). FLOOD THEM with emails about this, and they'll have to fix it.

Argh. This is so frustrating. Its like being handed a pile of goodies but you are not allowed to open them. I wish they would get back to me.

Normally tomorrow or in 2 days they will post sth about the gift house at their fanpage and then you can open them for free
opened 50 gifts but only sent 24 gift requests, can not request any more because the gift house is still full,like the pictures above with the black box, and i run out of rps opening them.lol

Mafia Wars is down, bet that they are fixing the issue with the gifts (I don't have any of them though) is that, and we hope is Bangkok BETA or even better, hte release

i also have the 3rd issue.. and i already spent 42 godfather points today to open my gifts early thinking once i open all 10 gifts, i should be able to open the rest of my gifts for free. but that did not work and now i am out of godfather points.. zynga should fix the bug soon. i cant keep on spending my gfp while others can open them for free
i can open them for 2 gp but i have unlimited gifts i get the present but another box pops up it is cool but still sad i have to pay 2 gp
I got a response from support. They are refunding my GF points and said it should be fixed within 24 hours :)

Me too, worse, some of the Moscow HEL is no longer lootable, it says chance to loot: (nothing follows it). Don't try to loot from these jobs, nothing will drop, nothing.

2 days ago my gift safe house says "Open early:2 GP" today I checked and all the buttons now says "FREE" but when I click to open it it says "Sorry you do not have any free gifts available!" What the heck!
I'm having the same issue as everyone else. They were open for 2 points, then open without actually opening anything. Lets hope this is fixed soon.

If u want to submit a ticket:
go onto ur Mafia Account & click 'support' (top right) u 1st have to open a Zynga support account. after that u can go to questions, then click 'email support'
& type ur question, it's very useful to include a pic of the screen of which u have a question..
(open Micr. Paint, go onto MW account, press 'print screen' button on ur keyboard, paste in Paint, save as JPEG & include in support mail)

ARGGGHH!!
But to make it worse, not Moscow jobs are giving out loot.
