Some of my mafia friends asked me about this feature on FaceBook. What is FaceBook Credits? You can see it from the screenshot below..
I tried to find out and click on the "Get Info" button next to it..
Then I clicked on "Get Credits" button there!
When I try to get credits using my PayPal, it requires me to put another Credit Card.. so I stop at this point and still don't know what is this feature used to. 
Can we buy Reward Points in Mafia Wars game using FaceBook Credits? Or what is it anyway?Kindly advise if you know the answer, please... Thank you in advance..

I believe FB credits are only for some things like "GIFT" option when you want to wish someone happy brithday... so you have option add gift which require FB credits... so I dont think so it have anything with zynga :P
Facebook credits are used in most other facebook games with exception of Zynga games. The facebook credits are exchanged for things to the equivalent of Reward Points in those other games as they are not permitted to charge you directly like Zynga does.
Some apps/games in facebook can use allready facebook credits for purchasing goodies like reward points etc. (try 'treasure madness' a non zynga game that you can buy Mu$ witch is equal to RP in MW) I think is just a matter of time Zynga will start to use this payment service as well :)
FB credits can be used for birthday gifts, but they can also be used in some games. Unfortunately, Zynga has not enabled the ability to purchase RP with FB credits (Zynga *has* enabled the ability to purchase FarmCash in FarmVille, but this blog isn't about FarmVille.)
I think they are used to pay for advertisements. I know this was the cause of the problems Zynga was having with Facebook because Facebook decided to make Zynga pay for their ads with the Facebook Credits which increased the costs by 30%. Not sure if this was resolved when they made the 5 year deal.
these facebook credits are related with some of the fb games
but i hav not seen them in zynga games

i just click at Get Credits and its says i bought 50 credits that cost me 5$ without even logme into my paypal but they did withdrow 5$ from my PayPal account how they do that without even take me to my paypal account nor putting my Paypal password..i need my 5$ back..but the weird thing how they took 5$ from my paypal and i only click at get credits it doesnt take me to paypal page??!!
its for bookmarking games on face book you only use 3 spaces for bookmark but if you used this you will get more space .........
With P2S you able to get free Facebook credits by doing little tasks, play games, take a part in surveys or click ads sponsored partner in P2S website.
