Witness Protection Progam Fail!

Yesterday I posted an article about "Witness Protection Program".. Not every player has this feature yet..

Leonard has promised to send more info about this... so here you go..

This the second part of Witness Protection Program. I got reply from the Zynga department and their response was this.



Hi Leonard,

Thanks for contacting Zynga Customer Support.

My name is xxx and it will be my pleasure to assist you. It can become frustrating to be continuously attacked or robbed by a particular player or group of players. Being continuously attacked or robbed seems unjust and a definite violation of terms of service. However, combat is a core mechanic of mafia wars and repeatedly attacking a player through normal and regular game play is not a violation of Mafia Wars Terms of Service.

Currently, there is overlap between players who are attacking through automated means and players who abide by normal and regular game play. This means it is possible for one player to continually attack another player without attacking through automated means. Our designers are working on improving our combat mechanics to accurately detect and hinder automated activity.

There is no sure way to prevent one player from continuously attacking another player. Unfortunately, the support department is unable to act as mediator between players attacking other players in-game.

The support department also cannot investigate methods of abuse that involve feed posts or other forms of communication.
Please keep in mind that aggressive behavior or activity can put an account at risk for retaliation by other players in the form of being reported to the respective social network.

We are unable to prevent such reports and any procedure to appeal to get an account reinstated can take several weeks and we cannot ensure its reinstatement.

Well, Leonard has tried the program and has it on his account (you can see it on his screenshot on my previous post).. but, the program is failed!

Second reply after complain that the program is not working:

Hello Leonard,

This is xxxx once again and I will be assisting you. I apologize for the inconveniences. Leonard, I was checking in your account and I was able to find that The Witness Protection Program has been successfully activated in your account.

The Witness Protection Program will automatically protect you once the system detect that you are under an excessive attack. An Excessive attack is considered when a player is attacking another one more than 300 times in a period of 10 minutes.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. I will be looking forward to hearing from you.

What??? 300 times in 10 mins then it will be activated. Not good program!!!
What do you think, guys?
