Italy 'Regions' are like Vegas 'Districts'. There are 5 initial Regions in Italy's release - Roma, Palermo, Venezia, Milano, and Napoli.
Speaking of Milano, I remember of one of my favorite soccer club ie AC Milan! 
And we will also have new Properties where we have to find special part from doing Property Job!
The Regions (or Districts) in Italy will have to use some new consumables ie.. Severed Pinky, Rail Pass, Smart Phone, Cooked Books and Hidden Charges.
And the loots are NOT giftable!
Not so sure if soon they will made it giftable like Vegas loots... Only time will tell..
We will also have new Achievements, new Collections & Vaults, Boosts, new Ports (similar like Chop Shop where we can build cars, but using another kind of parts).
Boss Fights similar with the Beat The Feds event.. etc etc.. I suggest you to read the details on the link provided above..
