Content Creation VS Bugs Fixing

Hayden loves to do walking on Zynga forum... yesterday he found one thread about Game Design and bugs! Thanks for sharing, Hayden.. Thank you!

One of Mafia Wars Game Design Team, Crazy Dragon introduced himself and also explained why Zynga developer team are not fixing bugs (look at Paragraph 5).

Ok, I see it now why it took so long for them to fix the bugs! They want us to be happy with new features first! Busy with new features and forget the bugs.. Xixixixixix
The question is why they don't add more crews to squash the bugs! So even the time is the same to make new contents, they will be able to fix the bugs first... I am sure it will make the candle even brighter!
Just my two cent.. What dya think?

So, which one you choose first : Content Creation OR Bugs Fixing?

- Bug fixing.

Bug fixing is by far more important than introducing new content. This is true in most gaming realms. Facebook games are generally non graphical, but it still applies. If too many bugs are there, then the game becomes unfun. While it's always nice to have new stuff come our way, you need to fix what is broken. It's like buying a new piece of furniture for a house that is falling apart. You may have a shiny new couch to look at and sit on, but if you don't start repairing the house soon, you may not have a house at all.

A lot of the new MW content is awesome and fun. But Zynga needs to show some restraint, fix the bugs before releasing that new content. By the time the major bugs are fixed, they will have a nice backlog of new stuff to roll out and won't be scrambling as much. Gives them more time to test it too.
