Just got this from reading one thread on Zynga Forum.. Here is the title and link as well to go there... SERIOUSLY - slow down on the events!
All of the commenters there are complaining about the "spamming" and "begging" events!
This game is supposed to be a crime game... Mafia Wars! Not a Begging Wars!
I have played this game since 2 years ago and I feel very sad about how fast we got new events after event after event.. New spamming after spamming and spamming again..
Please, slow down, Zynga!
Don't force us to ask for a lot of things from Free Gifts!
Please give a break after releasing one event, especially if the event involving lots amount of Free Gifts..
We play this game for fun and begging from other players to give you various of items are NOT fun!

Yes.. agree with u Ade We play this game for fun..
and instead of spending holidays with the family zynga is trying to make mafia wars lovers to stick to computer all day to collect gifts and send them, and not to forget protecting them.. I mean c'mon most players are energy players or dont have 501 MW members and aint strong enough to protect their gift boxes and even strong fighters can be robbed by other stronger fighters... plane stupid..
so what now? we have to beg all day to protect our gifts?

yes i used to love mafia but its changed so much was a time u interacted with mafia more,meaning ppl use to help with hitlist and stuff we chatted more, now its all game play and gift sending time wasting crap really
